    We are looking for an Elevator Mechanic who has commercial repair and service experience to run a service route in the Charleston/Columbia, SC or Myrtle Beach, SC area.

    Relocation is offered with this job.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    Servicing and repairing commercial elevators:
    Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
    Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
    Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
    Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
    Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
    Understanding of wiring diagrams

    Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
    Relevant mechanical certification - Elevator Mechanic License preferred.
    Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic running a service route.
    Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
    Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
    Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
    Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
    Ability to travel and work after hours when required.

    Must have a clean driving record with no recent tickets or accidents in the past three years


    Must pass a drug and background screen

    This position will inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, knuckle booms, bucket trucks, etc.). Mechanical experience required with electrical and hydraulics.

    It is part of this roles responsibility to help grow the business by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the development of customer relationships and market presence.

    Candidates will be required to take a skill assessment as part of the interview/hiring process.


    Key Responsibilities


    A minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects

    Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems

    Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges

    Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings

    Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications

    Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness

    Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision

    Maintains conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulations

    Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, work orders, and other company and customer paperwork in a timely and efficient manner

    Must complete expense reports in a timely manner as dictated by company policy

    Exceptional customer service and communication skills

    Ability to work overtime and weekends is a plus. Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs. Shop technicians work 4050 hours/week; field technicians work 4080 hours/week depending on customer needs

    Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record required for field technician positions CDL preferred
