    Full Job Description An field-leading, multi-location mechanical contracting firm is seeking an experienced, business-minded Commercial Plumbing Service Manager to lead our regional service division. This role is a pure, clean-shirt leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial health, and field performance of a dedicated commercial and industrial plumbing service department.

    You will own the plumbing service P&L for the branch and drive revenue growth through quote conversion and preventive maintenance pull-through. To ensure your operational success, our corporate structure includes a dedicated internal sourcing department that actively recruits and routes field technicians directly to your team , allowing you to focus on high-level management, customer retention, and department efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage day-to-day operations, full department P&L, labor efficiency, and monthly/quarterly financial targets.Review and approve technician-generated service quotes for accuracy, scope, and pricing before customer presentation.Drive quote conversions and track preventive maintenance pull-through opportunities identified by field technicians.Partner with dispatch coordinators to optimize technician schedules, routing, response times, and field utilization.Hire, train, and mentor plumbing technicians and apprentices, conducting regular field checks and ride-alongs to maintain high workmanship and safety standards.Maintain accurate work order documentation, job costing metrics, and closeout records within our field software platform.
