This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for large-scale exterior restoration and waterproofing projects. What Youll Be Doing Develop comprehensive cost estimates and bid proposals for exterior restoration from concrete repair and waterproofing to windows, doors, and balcony systems Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or traditional scale drawings Enter takeoff data into Excel-based bid sheets, and coordinate with Microsoft Project for scheduling integration Review construction drawings, specifications, and site conditions to make sure pricing is accurate and realistic Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project management teams Make short, occasional site visits (often overnight) to ground-truth your estimates and scopes Participate in preconstruction meetings and contribute value-engineering ideas to optimize scopes and costs What Were Looking For 5+ years of estimating experience, specifically in exterior restoration , waterproofing , coatings or similar work Deep understanding of concrete repair, balcony restoration, window/door systems, sealants, and waterproofing materials Proven experience with multifamily, hospitality, or high-rise exterior projects Strong skills in Excel, digital takeoff tools (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam), and working from both digital and hard-plan drawings Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment Creative and analytical mindset someone who can apply both technical rigor and practical sensibility Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Bonus : Bilingual (Spanish/English)
