Job DescriptionJob Description(Or: "Chief Kitchen Whisperer, Southeast Edition")Who We Are

Total Foodservice Group (TFG) is the reason restaurant kitchens across the Southeast don't spontaneously combust. We supply the commercial kitchen equipment, parts, and service that keep the grills grilling, the soft serve swirling, the frozen drinks flowing and the line cooks from staging a mutiny.

We're growing fast and looking for people who want to grow with us because nothing says "career opportunity" like a company that still remembers your name and doesn't just see you as a number on a spreadsheet.

    About the Role

We need a motivated, results-driven Territory Sales Manager to take the wheel in our Houston, TX territory by building relationships, closing deals, and keeping the whole thing running smoothly.

This is the perfect gig for someone who's lived the restaurant/foodservice life, survived it, and is ready to trade in the hairnet for a laptop bag while staying close enough to the industry to still speak fluent "86'd" and "in the weeds."

A quick note on your toolkit: In the Texas territory, you'll be selling Taylor, Icetro, and Emory Thompson equipment, all genuinely great products that clients get excited about. On top of that, you'll have the full weight of Middleby's entire product lineup behind you for service and parts, so you're never showing up empty-handed.

    What You'll Actually Be Doing

Cooking up strategic sales plans (see what we did there)

Identifying and chasing down new leads to grow the customer base

Keeping an organized customer database, because sticky notes don't scale

Tailoring solutions to what clients actually need, not just what's collecting dust in the warehouse

Making sales calls, giving demos, and negotiating contracts

Training clients on products without putting anyone to sleep

Keeping an eye on the competition (politely, not in a creepy way)

Handling direct marketing and promo materials

Teaming up with the sales crew to swap war stories and best practices

Tracking your pipeline and reporting on it; spreadsheets are your friend here, we promise

    What We're Looking For

A track record of sales success, technical sales or account management preferred

Restaurant, foodservice, or restaurant sales experience (bonus points if you have battle scars)

The ability to build and execute a sales strategy without needing a map

Communication and negotiation skills sharp enough to turn a service call into a sales conversation

Comfort with market shifts (you bend, you don't break)

Self-motivation and resilience, because cold calls aren't for the faint of heart

    CRM and Google Suite fluency

Sales management experience is a nice-to-have, not a must

    Superpowers We're Hunting For

Planning like a chess grandmaster (but for kitchen equipment)

Adaptability - plans change faster than a lunch rush

Communication, written and verbal (emojis optional, clarity required)

Negotiation skills that would make a diplomat jealous

Resilience and tenacity, you don't wilt under pressure

Stress tolerance, the kitchen's on fire, metaphorically. Handle it.

A genuine, unshakeable drive to hit your goals

    Our Core Values

People First - Genuine. Collaborative. In Tune.

Forward Thinking - Ambitious. Growth Mindset. Proactive.

Whatever It Takes - Committed. Own It. Determined.

The Good Stuff (Compensation & Benefits)

Base Salary: $50,000/year (because your experience matters)

Uncapped Commission: No ceiling. Sky's the limit. Literally just keep selling.

Quarterly Bonuses: Because "good job" is nice, but "good job, here's a check" is nicer

Monthly Travel Stipend: Gas money so your car doesn't stage its own mutiny

    Employer-Contributed Medical Insurance

Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance: we've basically got you covered head to toe

401(k) with Company Match: Future You says thanks

    Generous Paid Time Off

    Paid Holidays

    Extra Perks

Flexible Work Environment: You're out in the field, running your own show, no one hovering over your shoulder

Paid Training & Career Growth: We actually invest in you, not just your quota

Company-Provided Laptop: Yes, it's yours to use. No, you don't have to bring your own like it's 2005.

TFG is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, all backgrounds, all experiences, all welcome. Come sell some kitchen gear with us.
