    We have a Night Production Supervisor Position Open. Hours are 6 PM - 6:30 AM. this would include alternating weekends and holidays.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Ability to communicate and set daily/weekly/monthly objectives to the production teams.Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules for overtime, training, etc.Guide, mentor, direct and coach employees.Monitor and guide production output according to specifications.Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.Coordinate new hire onboarding and training schedules.Ability to perform performance reviews, disciplinary action items, and conduct interviews for open positions.Lead, organize and coordinate changeovers to minimize changeover times.Work to foster and grow the company culture of teamwork, respect and continual improvement.Follows all Safety and Operations Procedures and Quality ProgramsSupports Company's certifications and outside agency requirements as it relates to production including but limited: ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and Customer System Requirements.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The work schedule is 12 hour shifts 6-6:30 that rotate every 30 days. Shift differential paid when working nights! Holiday pay offered when you work the holiday!

    Position responsibilities:

    Remove finished goods on pallets with forklift , scan and place in designated locations in shipping warehouse.Ability to load palletizer with pallets.Ability to load the wrapper with required materials and learn to operate and troubleshoot.Perform forklift inspections.Must be able to safely operate forklift with various attachments as needed for the product removal from the linePerform visual inspection of finished goods and report inconsistences to operator, lead or supervisor.Complete daily cleaning of area.Operate electric and propane forklifts.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    We are looking for someone with Quality Control Experience! This position will be performing quality control testing in our lab on paper samples of raw materials and finished goods.

    The Quality Data Clerk performs routine testing of paper products using established procedures and various equipment with the ability to enter results into computer systems as required. The position also tests and evaluates incoming raw materials, in-process samples and finished products as instructed. The position will also include keeping the testing area (lab) clean, organized, and daily maintenance of equipment.

    Daily Responsibilities

    Processes samples, prepares samples, performs evaluations by using equipment and sensory evaluations to record data for paper tissue samples. Identify defects and product quality from samples as they occur to assure the accuracy of data.Performs administrative duties of the quality control lab by entering test data, standards, calibration, filing of quality check sheets and maintenance training records.Maintains sample storage, organizes storage and disposal process of waste in accordance to process and procedures as set up by Quality Coordinator. Ability to identify quality issues and possible resolutions.Verifies calibration and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with manufacture's procedure and specifications.

    Communications:

    Informs and communicates lab results including non-conforming product. Keeps records, reports, and communicates results as scheduled following requirements and process. Effectively communicates with other members of team and production floor personnel.

    Customer Service/Quality:

    Maintain Texas Tissues high standards of customer service by providing quality product.

    Technical:

    Ability to apply tests and run equipment as necessary to perform job duties and requirements of customers.Ability to use computer and enter data into correct customer test data spreadsheet and file folder.

    Safety:

    Ability to follow company safety policies and use safety devices as required.

    Ability to follow Quality Control testing lab safety rules and policies.

    Requirements:

    Remove paper waste from production lines by loading large rolling carts and pushing to bailer to compact into bundles.May require the movement of waste bales by pallet jack or forklift.Assist operators in removing cores from the line.Sweep floors of production areas, walk areas, and warehouse.Check water stations and remove trash from floor areas.Empty all trash containers located in warehouse at least once per shift.Use of cleaning tools, electrical hand tools, and compressed air.May assist line as needed for rework in packaging area.

    We need full-time Machine Operators that will learn to operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. The position is located in Conroe, TX.

    Must be able to work 12 hour shift rotation, weekends and holidays! Shift hours are 6:00 - 6:30.

    This role is key to our production and if you have the experience in manufacturing and can maintain a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency we want you! The production area is climate controlled.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line. (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)Ability to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures a must!Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials) by using overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.May operate automated packaging equipment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required.Manufacturing experience preferred.Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team!Physical: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule) Strong attention to detail.Ability to work a Rotational work schedule (Days and Nights) including weekends and holidays.Ability to complete background check and pre- employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
