    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Tiger-Sul is a subsidiary of Tessenderlo Kerley and is seeking a Shipping Warehouse Operations - Day Shift plant worker.

    The Shipping Warehouse Operations employee is responsible for safely and efficiently managing all inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining accurate inventory control, documentation, and warehouse organization. This position plays a critical role in supporting plant operations by ensuring products are loaded correctly, materials are received accurately, and all shipping and receiving activities comply with company safety standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    Shipping Responsibilities

    Verify customer pickup numbers, destinations, lot numbers, quality sheets, and load requirements prior to loading trucks.Ensure outbound shipments comply with weight limits, shipping specifications, and customer requirements.Inspect trailers, flooring, pallets, packaging, shrink wrap, and product condition before loading.Verify product labels, pallet counts, lot numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.Secure outbound shipments using required load bars, straps, and other safety devices.Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs), scale tickets, pallet inspection sheets, and shipping paperwork.Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free loading and dock areas.

    Receiving Responsibilities

    Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and receiving documentation.Inspect incoming materials, pallets, and packaging for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.Coordinate safe and efficient unloading of raw materials and deliveries.Report damaged materials, spills, shortages, or shipment discrepancies to management immediately.Properly stage, label, and organize received materials for storage or production use.Maintain organized warehouse storage practices and proper inventory rotation.

    Safety & Compliance

    Follow all company safety procedures and safe forklift operating practices.Properly use wheel chocks, glad hand locks, dock plates/blades, and all required PPE.Maintain housekeeping standards throughout warehouse, dock, and loading areas.Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, near misses, or incidents immediately.Ensure trucks and trailers are properly secured before loading or unloading begins.Follow all plant policies, SOPs, and operational procedures.

    Warehouse & Inventory

    Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control activities.Perform routine inspections of pallets, storage areas, and warehouse conditions.Stage finished goods and raw materials to support production and shipping schedules.Assist in minimizing damaged product, inventory loss, and shipping errors.Support accurate inventory tracking and documentation processes.Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.Forklift operating experience required.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety procedures.Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.Ability to inspect product quality, labels, pallets, and packaging accurately.Basic computer, data entry, and paperwork documentation skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

    Shipping Schedule

    Standard shipping and receiving hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.Truck drivers may be permitted to arrive outside normal shipping hours with Plant Management approval.

    The Batch Maker is responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and processing liquid Sulphur and raw materials, including Bentonite and other micronutrients, using a batching system. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow production formulas and batch sheets precisely, and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to batch sheets, formulas, and production specifications.Operate, monitor, and adjust batching equipment to ensure proper mixing and consistency of materials.Transfer completed batches from the mixing pot to the feed pot for continued processing.Work closely with belt operators to support the pastille production process and ensure product quality standards are met.Inspect materials and finished products for consistency, accuracy, and quality.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies and sanitation standards.Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor.Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.Assist with inventory tracking and report raw material shortages or discrepancies.Support production goals by working collaboratively with team members and maintaining production schedules.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications

    Work Environment

    This position works in an industrial manufacturing environment involving exposure to heat, moving mechanical equipment, dust, and chemical materials. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

    Role Description:

    As a Demand Supply Specialist, you are responsible for the planning of inventory and operation of the terminals. While acting as a vital part of the supply chain team, you will be working across the organization to ensure the most efficient supply plan and agile shipping response processes are created. You are someone who’s always thinking ahead and has alternative approaches in his/her back pocket.

    Key Accountabilities:

    Deeply understand business parameters and utilize this knowledge to optimize daily inbound receipt and outbound shipment processes at the terminals.Passionate about meeting or exceeding standards and goals to ensure the master data is accurate and current in SAP to help drive the DRP and MRP functionality.Promote new ways of looking at processes to work more effectively with the manufacturing organization to maximize their time related to supply issues.Discuss ideas and guide internal customers towards the most appropriate (strategic) solution by giving focused advice and constructive feedback when working with the supply planner for the implementation of this solution that ensures a seamless product placement process.Creatively process key financial information while working with the finance team to keep them apprised of inventory fluctuations each month when looking at receipts vs. shipments.Appropriately involve operations and the planners in decisions and plans to affect seamless work that ensures products are at targeted inventory levels.Develop models for 24 months out to help understand any current or future inventory storage issues for discussion at the monthly Supply Reviews.Schedule physical inventory audits to meet audit and Business Units requirements.Work to remove barriers while collaborating with terminal operators to provide timely month-end inventory levels.Apply technical knowledge to correctly address working with transportation organizations to ensure the equipment is in the correct location and the most efficient mode is utilized.Create STOs or shipment receipts for storage depots.Assist in training and being trained in other cross-functional duties within the department.Office working environment with standard working schedule (work hours over standard hours may be required including starting early, staying late, or working weekends).Able to travel as required up to 40%.Qualifications

    Key Knowledge Skills and Behaviors:

    B.S. in Supply Chain, Operations, or 3-5 years of equivalent working experienceUnderstanding how to function in a highly compressed seasonal businessExtensive knowledge of how to work with SAP in supply planning and daily operational processes.
