Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. is seeking an Operator C for our plant in Coffeyville, Kansas. The role involves supporting plant and terminal operations while adhering to Tessenderlo Kerley's policies and procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Key Accountabilities (Performance Profile): Load and unload trucks and railcars in accordance with Tessenderlo Kerley policy and OSHA, EPA, HM-126, BOE and DOT regulations. Read and record local instrumentation, and obtain and analyze product samples to ensure product quality. Contain, clean up, package and label hazardous waste according to HAZWOPER training and OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HM-126 and DOT regulations. Outside operation of manual valves and equipment. Troubleshoot and correct irregularities with the process and process equipment. Participate in the plant safety program, including presenting and attending required safety meetings, reporting potential hazards, and performing monthly safety inspections. Routine inspection of vessels and equipment to prevent equipment failure or damage. Maintain plant property in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist in plant projects, including maintenance, turnaround, lockout/tag-out and confined space entries. Implement an emergency response plan and assist in the mitigation of emergency situations. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management. Role Description: As a company team member, you will be responsible for safely delivering assigned loads while maintaining a professional image, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to sales efforts. Key Accountabilities: Operate various types of delivery trucks, trailers and other equipment as required, focusing on safety. Provide a customer-focused experience to all deliveries. Identify customer needs and challenges and find a resolution.  Advise supervisor of all resolutions. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with customers both externally and internally. Maintain high company standards for self and equipment. Work in tandem with the supervisor to arrange routine equipment maintenance and repair Perform minor maintenance functions as required. Prepare cargo documents and other paperwork completely, accurately, and legibly to ensure product quality. Ensure proper PPE and equipment are readily available for shipments. Adhere to company rules and regulations. Requirements: Must pass an MVR Background Check and have maintained a clean driving record with no moving violations for at least the past two years. Knowledge of DOT regulations (CFR 49). Current Class A CDL with hazardous material, tanker, doubles, and triples endorsement. Minimum 2 years of proven experience in bulk tanker transit.
