    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Assistant Manager Trainee is responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer Service and is accountable for the operation of the c-store including gas pumps, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, employee management, and managing operating costs and shrink.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment, maintaining
    superior standards of operations.
    Control shrink, expenses, and schedule employees per guideline set by management.
    Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, all perishables are within selling dates, and the selling floor is
    adequately stocked, along with appropriate signage.
    Ensure employees are in compliance with all policies and procedures and that they are trained properly and
    periodically check to make sure that all employees and equipment certifications are current as required by state,
    federal, and company policies.
    Ensure all money handling is conducted per company procedures and that they are fully trained to handle POS and other
    store equipment to minimize errors and cashier's shortage.
    Maintain Company standards to ensure we meet or exceed Terrible Herbst Operational Excellence Programs.
    Prepare Daily Activity Reports accurately and in timely manner.
    Prepare and complete the daily fuel survey.
    Continually evaluate and manage employee issues and their performances.
    Cover open shifts as designated by the C-Store Manager.
    Travel to other district locations to support district staffing needs.
    Be available to work any shift required to meet store demands, and be on-call to cover sick calls.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Staff Accountant

    Position Overview:
    The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of the company by supporting accurate accounting processes and reporting. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and assisting the finance team in achieving financial goals.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Prepare and record journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing supporting schedules and reports.Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
    Qualifications:

    Terrible's is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious CDL A Fuel Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Fuel Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of fuel products to our valued customers.     Key Responsibilities:
    Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of over 26,000 pounds, equipped with a tanker trailer, to transport fuel products to various locations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and other essential components.Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with truck driving laws and safety standards.Safely load and unload fuel products, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo.Perform accurate and timely delivery of fuel products to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.Maintain clear and concise records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues.Provide exceptional customer service by professionally interacting with customers and addressing their inquiries or requests in a friendly and helpful manner.Adhere to proper fueling and safety protocols while at customer sites.Follow all company policies and procedures related to personal and vehicle safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and stay updated on industry regulations.
    Qualifications:
    Valid CDL Class A license with a Hazmat endorsement.Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.Clean driving record with no recent or significant violations.Excellent knowledge of truck driving laws, regulations, and safety practices.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.Ability to operate a CMV safely in various weather and road conditions.Good communication and customer service skills.Physical ability to load and unload fuel products, including bending, lifting, and climbing.Must pass pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing as required by law.
