Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Inventory Controller will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the Company's inventory system while always looking for opportunities to iteratively improve the efficiency of the inventory management process. This individual will support the receiving/logging of parts into inventory, the disbursement of parts exiting inventory, support hardware production kitting, and provide oversight of kitting support personnel. Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Cable & Harness Technician to join our growing team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the AIT Technician, Cable & Harness will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, potting, fabricating and repairing flight harnesses and avionics systems. The ideal candidate should possess keen visual acuity and knowledge of quality control and ASO-9100 standards with high attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for this position.
This role is on our Weekday shift (Monday-Thursday) from 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Use essential tools and test equipment for harness fabricationWork under microscopeCIRRIS testing experienceRun reports and download for tracking purposesSolder, crimp, strip, and fabricate flight harnesses for spacecraftPerform quality assurance checkouts on flight harness buildsRead wire harness schematics, assembly drawings, product-specific documentation, and work instructionsUtilize quality control methodologies while identifying components for harness fabrication and testingQualifications and Skills
