    The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for processing all scheduled shipments, interfacing
    customers in regard to managing U.S. based orders and ensuring proper inventory levels are
    kept, avoiding production delays.

    Job Responsibilities:Act as main point of contact for daily operations for assigned account(s) as related to order fulfillmentSupervise order fulfillment staff of 7+ employees to ensure duties are completed as specifiedSupport fulfillment staff as needed (working supervisory position)Work with Kitting Supervisor to determine necessary production schedule to ensure timely order fulfillment. Work with customer(s) directly and within systems to forecast inventory required for upcoming projects to ensure timely completionWork within customer requirements to ensure orders are filled in appropriate order and timelineDefine, prepare, and generate reports on customer order KPIsHandle all customer communication as related to order fulfillmentContribute to customer specific action logs to ensure customer is appropriately informed of delays and reason behind itResponsible for training and maintaining training records of fulfillment and inventory staff positionsResponsible for ensuring orders are shipped and inventory in appropriately tracked in company inventory systemComplete customer incident reports as related to errors in order fulfillmentAssist in production as requiredOther duties as assigned Qualifications:

    Job Summary:
    The Shipping Lead is responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. The leader is responsible for knowing proper procedures for workers to follow and ensure that they comply with. The leader might be called upon to share special industry techniques on how to use tools and equipment, or tips on how to improve quality or speed of production.
