    RAMBAM DAY SCHOOL IS COMMITTED TO: A play and project-based curriculum that fosters hands-on learning and critical thinking. Nurturing leadership skills in a child-centered environment with small class sizes. Embracing diverse learning styles and fostering lifelong learning. Building strong partnerships with parents to support student growth and development.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:Assess students' academic strengths and areas for improvement using a variety of assessment tools (e.g., benchmarks, MAP testing, formative assessments).Analyze student data and collaborate with teachers to design and implement targeted instructional strategies and interventions that address individual student needs.Monitor student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed.Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan instructional strategies and assess student progress toward academic goals.Collaborate regularly with the team to share successes and brainstorm solutions to challenges throughout the yearCommunicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom expectations.Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.Promote a positive learning environment by motivating students and fostering higher-order thinking.Stay current on best practices and educational strategies through professional development opportunities.Foster the belief that all students can succeed academically through grade-level instruction and targeted interventions.
    TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLSValid teaching certification (appropriate to position)Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Special Education certification and/or Master's degree (preferred)Expertise in Reading/Mathematics instruction and remediationProven ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learnersSkilled in using various instructional strategies to support all learning stylesExperience with research-based interventions and improving student achievementStrong communication skills with students, staff, and parentsProficient in using data to drive instructionFamiliarity with Tiered Instruction and grade-level appropriate teaching methodsComfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilitiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficient with technology (assistive tools, software like Google Classroom, SeeSaw, etc.)Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
