We are currently seeking a Construction Manager, to join our Construction Department team based in Houston, TX. About the Job ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES HOME OFFICE * Establish a CM Organization (Home Office and Site Offices) and provide the leadership and direction to implement the requirements for the construction scope of work. * Provide coordination and communication with the Client, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Contractors; establish and maintain goals and objectives for PULSE HSE, Quality, Project Cost and Schedule. * HSSE and Quality Program initiatives are primary drivers for a Construction Manager. * Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective Construction Execution Plan (CEP) and the deliverables as required for the scope of work in the various phases of a project including Feasibility, BEDP, Pre-FEED/FEL 2, FEED/FEL 3 and EPC. * Prepare the project Construction Execution Plan, Constructability Plan, Temporary Facilities Plan and establish Construction Techniques, Best Methods and Practice as well as other specific programs. * Review and provide feedback to the Health Safety and Environment Plan, Quality Plan, Subcontract Strategy, AWP Plan, and Site Material Control Plan * Initiate and administer studies for Construction Labor, Heavy Haul/Heavy Lift, Modularization, Temporary Facilities and Services etc. * Assess the performance of CM Organization members, Subcontractors and Service Providers. * Prepare Construction content for T.EN presentations and proposals to Clients. * Provide input to Construction Estimates and Schedule, review and comment on Basis of Estimate. * Travel to meet Clients and visit Sites. * Reviews subcontract scope of work, inputs the construction requirements, reviews Technical Bid Tabulations and Commercial Bid Tabulations ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES SITE * Monitor project labor, materials, subcontractors and equipment as work progresses and take necessary actions to control as he or she shall determine. * Supervise and direct Supervisors through planning, means and methods, manpower requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, and work schedule. * Ensures construction work proceeds in conformity with schedule, quality and HSE. * Ensures proper preparation before any new construction activity begins (Construction Readiness Reviews) and reports any deficiencies or impediments to his/her Manager. * Draws-up the extra works orders or change orders and pay particular attention to supervising activities deriving from. * Prepares reports accordingly. * Establishes work assignment to discipline supervisors. * Interfaces with field engineering for clarification regarding design / drawings. * Check and approve weekly progress * Attends key quality inspections when requested * Attends morning HSE meeting before start of work, carry out routine HSE and Quality surveys and verifications. * Revises construction schedule when progress trend is deviating and develops strategies and corrective measures to ensure respect of the revised schedule. * Checks and approves subcontractors' invoices, in collaboration with the Subcontract Administration Manager, Cost Control Manager and Area Construction Superintendents before submitting them to the Site Manager for approval. Key Traits * Provide proactive leadership, direction and control over the Construction program and the required resources commencing from the Notice to Proceed up to completion of the Work and Turnover of the Facilities and Services. * Ensure that Health, Safety and Environment are promoted to the maximum extent. * Ensure Quality is built-in to all phases and aspects of the Work. * Communicate and coordinate Construction requirements to all members of the Project including the Client, Engineering, Procurement, and the Construction organization. * Communicate the contract scope of work and division of responsibilities to the CM Organization, Subcontractors, and Service Providers. We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. This role will support domestic payroll operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional internal stakeholder support across the organization. About the Job The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing and reconciling payroll within established deadlines while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners closely with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, P&C, Finance, and external vendors to support accurate payroll operations and maintain data integrity. This is a local position based in Houston, TX, and is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship now or in the future. Key Responsibilities * Process weekly union and biweekly non-union payroll accurately and within established deadlines * Compile, validate, and prepare payroll data for system entry * Audit payroll data before and after transmission to ensure accuracy and compliance * Interpret, enter, and maintain child support and garnishment orders in accordance with applicable regulations * Collect, validate, and process manual timecards and required payroll adjustments * Ensure accuracy of employee paychecks, W-2s, payroll tax reporting, and general ledger data * Process off-cycle payroll payments in compliance with federal and state requirements * Serve as the primary payroll point of contact for assigned business groups * Prepare payroll reconciliations and supporting documentation for management review * Generate and distribute payroll reports for internal stakeholders * Support quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2/W-2c processing, amendments, and audits * Partner with payroll vendors to resolve tax discrepancies, notices, and registration issues * Research and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Partner with the Benefits team to research and correct benefit deduction discrepancies * Collaborate with HRIS to resolve employee data inconsistencies impacting payroll * Partner with P&C and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to maintain payroll data integrity * Support internal and external audit requests by gathering and validating required payroll documentation * Perform payroll-related G/L research and reconciliation activities as needed * Support payroll system enhancements, process improvements, and special projects * Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive employee information Qualifications Education & Certifications * Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required * Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required Experience * Minimum of 5+ years of payroll processing experience * Experience processing both union and non-union payroll preferred * Experience with multi-state and local payroll tax regulations * Experience with ADP Vantage and/or ADP Workforce Now preferred * Strong understanding of payroll compliance, garnishments, and tax regulations * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Skills & Competencies * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities * Effective time management and ability to manage multiple priorities * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Read Less
