    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following as other responsibilities may be assigned:

    Receive customer RFQ & assign a quote number, or designee.Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data.Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Review of customers RFQ for feasibility of manufacture.Responds to customer requests in a timely manner.Attends scheduled meetings on time and fully prepared.Documents all findings and conversations pertaining to specific jobs or customer on designated job / customer file.Works collectively with various departments (sales, shipping, production, accounting, program managers, etc.) to assure that we produce the most accurate cost analysis & quotation possible.Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements when necessary.Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for quote flow & cost estimate.Lists required materials, tools, and equipment.Establishes positive communications between customer and TMC, & between department and supporting departments.Performs contract review on planning and estimating versus customer PO when required on new program or aircraft jobs or part numbers.Translates all MILL Standards on drawings into specific instructions and verifies our ability to adhere and or comply with the standard.Lists all requirements for certifications and mill spec.’s in Quote.

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Techniform is looking for a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join our team. Techniform serves many industries from Aerospace to Architectural providing stretch forming, machining, fabrication, and assembly of metals. The ideal candidate would be responsible for testing and inspection of products at various stages of the production process and would compile and evaluate statistical data to determine quality and verification of products. Candidate would work within the QMS to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties. 2nd Shift 2:30 PM-11 PM

    Job Summary:

    Review’s inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.Applies quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.Communicates aspects of inspection criteria and procedures to production.Investigates customer complaints regarding Quality.Maintain positive teamwork and morale within division.Represent Techniform professionally with all vendors, customers, subordinates, co-workers, and superiors.Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions measurements and performance characteristics.Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.Verifies certifications and data of incoming product.Report deviations from engineering to supervisor for disposition and carries out disposition when required.

     

    Qualifications:

    Experience in QA or production manufacturing/fabrication preferred with at least 1 - 2 years of prior experience in like capacity. Must have the ability to utilize tape measures, calipers, protractors & other calibrated measuring devices. Should have the ability to understand & read blueprints and tolerances. Exhibits excellent time management skills.

    Education:

    High School Diploma/GED a must

    Techniform is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator to join our team. Techniform serves many industries from Aerospace to Architectural providing stretch forming, machining and fabrication. The ideal candidate would be responsible for programs, sets up and operates the CNC 3 Axis Machining Center by performing the following duties.

    Job Summary:

    · Sets up, operates and assists/edits programming of the CNC 3 Axis Machining Center to perform a combination of machining operations such as facing, turning, boring, threading, drilling, reaming, broaching, knurling metal work pieces to specifications.*

    · Sets up and operates CNC 3 Axis Machining Center to complete metal work pieces to specifications.*

    · Reviews set up sheets and specifications to determine program sequence, set up operation and dimensions of finished work piece.*

    · Inserts cutting tools/tool holders and position tools on turret.*

    · Verifies accuracy of machined work pieces against blueprints or engineering drawings by measuring cuts with inspection tooling and gages.*

    · Makes adjustments in the program and tooling as needed to achieve correct specification.*

    · Loads bar stock or tubing in feeder tube.*

    · Runs secondary operations on another machine when time allows.*

    · Aids management in scheduling work load to save time.*

    · Trains employees in set up and maintaining quality production standards.*

    · Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures.*

    · Maintains production completion logs.*

    · Reports any discrepancies to immediate supervisor.*

    · Performs regular daily maintenance on equipment, tools, gages and keeps work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.*

    · Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.*

    Qualifications:

    · Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    · Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

    · Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

    · Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    · Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software; database software and CNC software

    · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    · Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
