TEC Electric is hiring a Traveling Electrician’s Helper / Supply House Coordinator to support both warehouse operations and active job sites.
Hands-on role focused on managing materials, supporting field teams, and keeping projects moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Organize and maintain all materials, tools, and equipment in the supply house
• Serve as the point of contact for all material and tool check-outs/returns
• Track inventory and ensure materials are labeled, stored, and easy to access
• Coordinate material needs with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams
• Pick up, transport, and deliver materials/tools to job sites and vendors
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and accountable shop environment

Must-Have
• Basic knowledge of electrical materials (conduit, wire, fittings, devices)
• Strong organization and accountability
• Ability to lift and move materials regularly
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable with frequent local travel to job sites/vendors

Nice to Have
• Electrical helper or apprentice experience

TEC Electric is seeking a Junior HVAC Controls Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC controls and building automation projects. This role bridges the gap between field technicians, project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
The Junior HVAC Controls Project Manager will assist with project scheduling, documentation, procurement coordination, and technical oversight while leveraging hands-on HVAC controls experience to support field teams and project leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support project planning including scheduling, scope review, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors
Review project drawings, specifications, and control diagrams to ensure proper execution of building automation installations
Coordinate procurement of materials, controls equipment, and system components required for project completion
Monitor project progress and assist in tracking milestones, deliverables, and schedules
Assist with the integration of building automation systems including HVAC controls, sensors, controllers, and networked devices
Coordinate with mechanical contractors, electrical teams, and other trades to ensure proper installation and system functionality
Assist in troubleshooting system issues and coordinating corrective actions with technicians and vendors
Maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation
Track project costs and assist with monitoring budgets and material usage
Support quality control efforts to ensure installations meet project standards and safety requirements
Qualifications
Experience working with HVAC controls, building automation systems (BAS), or building management systems (BMS)
Working knowledge of HVAC systems, sensors, controllers, and controls wiring
Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other building automation communication protocols preferred
Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, blueprints, and project specifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills for coordinating with field teams, contractors, and clients
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation tools
Experience Requirements
10+ years of experience working with HVAC controls, BAS, or building automation systems
3+ years leadership and project management experience
Experience supporting construction or controls projects in commercial or data center environments preferred
