POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Millwright will provide quality operational repairs and preventative maintenance services. You will be responsible for all mill machinery and duties including:
• Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process;
• Undertake preventative and predictive maintenance program for equipment;
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures & processes;• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up, and repair of equipment and machinery;
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
• Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, lubricate, and perform maintenance work on machinery;
• Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders;
• Assemble large, precision heavy equipment for the Lumber/wood processing sector;
• Utilize knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings.
Work Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Millwright qualification;
• Perform preventative maintenance work as well as make repairs to maintain mill flow in a fast-paced production environment;
• Proficiency in cutting and welding operations using oxy-acetylene equipment and electric welders;
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently with little supervision;
• Previous experience in a Saw Mill or heavy industry preferred;
• Swing shift work is required;
• Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

This role ensures that all electrical systems function efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and optimize production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLCs, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, motor controls, power distribution, and equipment wiring.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues in machinery, conveyors, saws, and other equipment, and make necessary repairs to ensure safe and continuous operation.PLC & Control Systems: Troubleshoot, repair, and program PLCs and automated control systems.Installations: Install, test, and calibrate new electrical equipment, machinery, and control panels to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to reduce downtime and improve equipment lifespan.Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work adheres to local codes, safety standards, and company procedures. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
Education: Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in electrical maintenance or equivalent experience.Licensing: Valid electrician’s license (may vary depending on location).Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing, sawmill, or heavy industrial setting.Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, including motor control centers (MCCs), conveyors, and heavy machinery.Strong knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), electrical wiring, and power distribution systems.Experience with electrical schematics and diagrams.Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations related to electrical work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve complex electrical issues.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong attention to detail to ensure materials are processed correctly.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying and dragging heavy materials.Must be capable of bending, stooping, crawling under or over and occasional climbing of stairs/ladders heights up to 6 or 7 feet.Abnormal levels of noise due to grinding, chipping, hammering requires hearing protection (ear plus) to be worn at all times.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.

The VP of Finance will oversee all financial functions, safeguard the company’s assets, and provide strategic insight that drive profitability, compliance and long-term growth in the manufacturing and lumber industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Partner with the General Manager and corporate finance leadership to align mill operations with company-wide financial goals.Develop and execute strategies that enhance cost control, efficiency, and profitability in a high-volume sawmill environment.Advise on capital investment, expansion opportunities, and risk management.Financial Management
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the Plain Dealing division.Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial controls to ensure compliance with Louisiana, U.S. GAAP, and corporate policies.Manage working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditures.Operations & Risk
Partner with EHS, HR, and Operations to ensure financial accountability across safety, labor, and compliance initiatives.Identify financial risks and recommend solutions to protect company resources.Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting.Team Leadership
Build and lead a finance/accounting team that is accurate, responsive, and aligned with company values.Develop talent through training, mentorship, and clear performance expectations.Stakeholder Relations
Serve as the financial liaison between the Plain Dealing mill, corporate headquarters, and external stakeholders.Provide clear financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership and the Board.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred).10+ years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing, forestry, or related industries.Strong knowledge of cost accounting, capital project management, and financial modeling.Proven success leading finance in a multi-site or high-volume manufacturing environment. Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based role Regular interaction with mill operations, requiring occasional presence on the sawmill floor.Exposure to a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and heavy equipment when visiting operations area.Standard business hours with occasional evenings or weekends to meet reporting deadlines or corporate schedules.Occasional travel may be required.Physical Requirements
