We are recruiting for a Ramp Service Agent who will also have the responsibility of an Aviation/Marine Fueler.


    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Aviation/Marine Fueler is responsible for fueling of marine vessels, residential and commercial accounts, and aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with fuel equipment upkeep/repair, and infrastructure maintenance and/or upgrades. The Ramp Service Agent is part of the Saint Paul Fuel customer service team. Their responsibilities include: marshaling aircraft, loading/unloading and sorting freight and baggage, servicing the aircraft, assisting with pushback and towing, deicing and other duties as assigned.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Fueler for operations on St Paul Island fueling aircraft, crab and fishing boats, residences, and commercial buildings.
    Perform fueling in safe and efficient manner.
    Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment
    Perform Quality Control checks on fuel supply as required
    Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
    Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
    Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
    Operate fuel trucks, and stationary dispensing system to fuel aircraft
    Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the ramp at all times
    Monitor customer safety during boarding and deplaning, and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner
    Marshal aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)
    Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers
    Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks
    Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies
    Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material
    Service aircraft as needed (e.g. aircraft lavatories, potable water, window wash, deicing and commissary items)
    Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage
    Constantly communicate with flight crew personnel and other ground personnel
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager


    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    High school diploma, preferred.
    Previous experience working in an aviation environment, desired.
    Successful completion of a ramp services training program.
    Valid drivers license.
    U.S. Customs Seal for access to CBP security areas.
    Knowledge of proper lifting techniques when handling heavy objects.
    Experience working with live animals and dangerous goods.
    Working knowledge of airport safety procedures.
    Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    Great physical fitness and strength.
    Time management skills.
    Ability to endure tough working conditions.

    St. Paul Island Tour is recruiting for the position of Tour Guide/Interpretive Naturalist. This is a seasonal (temporary full-time) position located in St. Paul, AK. This position reports to the Tour Manager.


    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Tour Guide/Interpretive Naturalist is responsible for visitor management, public relations, and interpretive services for the visiting public. This position will also be responsible for conducting guided tours of St. Paul Island and the management and escorting of the tour groups, with heavy emphasis on public relations and interpretive services covering the ecology and history of the island. Interpretive themes typically center on birds, marine mammals, and indigenous Unangan history. Under the Tour Managers guidance, Tour Guides make decisions concerning the daily scheduling of tour vehicles and participants based upon specific visitor requests and expectations. Applicants must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions in a very remote location. Normal conditions are overcast with drizzle, rain, or fog and an average high temperature during the summer of only 50F. St. Paul Island is located over 750 miles from Anchorage within the Pribilof Islands and is only accessible by semi-weekly flights.


    This is a seasonal position. Candidates must be available to fly to Anchorage on July 28, 2026, with July 29-31 blocked for safety training. End date of employment will be approximately mid-October.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Communicate and interpret to the visitor in a pleasant and informative manner information on the wildlife, natural history and cultural history of St. Paul Island. Provide exemplary customer service on a daily basis.
    Work cooperatively with the Tour Manager, other Tour Guides, the Hotel Manager and other TDX Corporation staff to give the best possible tour for the visitor. Guides are often an informal liaison between tourists, the tour program, and local residents.
    Educate the visitors on the delicate balance of the Bering Sea ecosystem, the fragile nature of the tundra, and the rich culture of the Unangan people, in a manner that is non-political and responsible.
    Conduct both driving and walking tours of the island, especially to seal and seabird rookeries. Many times, such tours will occur during inclement weather.
    Lead tours to search for vagrant and accidental species of birds both for organized birding groups and independent birdwatchers of varying interests, expectations, and abilities.
    Lead tours for groups of cruise ship passengers, Elderhostel participants, VIPs, and other special trips.
    Tour Guides are required to extensively read and research the major themes and topics of this tour. They should be prepared to spend at least some free time birding, botanizing, and naturalizing in the field.
    Assist the Tour Manager with various special projects and clerical duties designed to improve tour programs, as well as with all aspects related to visitor services. These duties may include cleaning tour vehicles and buildings, picking up garbage, and lifting up to 50lbs.
    Tour Guides are to drive 12-passenger vans and a 22-passenger bus and be responsible for fueling and cleaning these vehicles. Occasional light maintenance of these buses will be required. Defensive driving and safe operation of vehicles is required.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Two years college education in natural science or the equivalent in work experience, familiarity with Pribilof flora, fauna and history and/or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and be comfortable explaining these subjects to groups of up to 40 people.
    Preference will be given to persons with strong birding skills and experience, knowledge of marine ecosystems, and those who can speak and/or write European languages.
    Ability to identify difficult groups of birds with ease, including those in immature and juvenile plumages, such as: gulls, shorebirds, and Asiatic vagrants. Ability to scan bodies of water, shorelines, and tundra and identify bird species in cryptic plumages.
    Strong communication, interpreting, and people skills and willingness to work intensively with a diversity of people under difficult conditions is essential. Guides must have strong people skills.
    The ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. The ability to live and work cooperatively and cheerfully with others from many different backgrounds with different abilities.
    A valid drivers license required with a good driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.
    A willingness to work up to seven days a week and long hours required, especially at the peak of tour season. The ability to work and function and maintain a sense of humor in adverse weather conditions. Guides should be in good physical condition.
    Must supply your own optics (binoculars and spotting scope), rain gear, and any other gear of a personal nature.
    Native and Alaskan preference.


    LIVING ARRANGEMENTS:

    TDX Corporation will provide housing, meals, and transportation to and from St. Paul. Housing is dormitory style and will be shared with other Tour Guides.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Make or change bed linens as needed.
    Wash linens and towels on a daily basis.
    Clean and wipe down rooms.
    Clean bathrooms.
    Clean lobby, TV room, hallway, and laundry room.
    Clean all vacant duplex and hotel rooms before new occupants arrive.
    Change towels and replace items when they become low in each room.
    Take out the trash.
    Stock cups, tissue, and paper towels.
    Checking guests in and out.
    Assisting the tourists on where things are within the hotel.
    Assist tourists with various inquiries.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Summary

    Technician will be responsible for participating in the day-to-day operations of a diesel engine driven power plant and power distribution system at a remote overseas facility located in Saudi Arabia. Required to make clear and concise logbook entries on a regular basis. Technician may be responsible for drafting reports and memos for management. Technician will be responsible for all installation, service, maintenance, repair, and operation of diesel engine driven generators and the associated power distribution equipment in a remote location. Technician will be required to use analytical and critical thinking to solve simple to complex mechanical and electrical problems in efforts to keep equipment running efficiently. Must be familiar with and execute best work place safety practices in accordance with OSHA and NFPA standards. Technician will be required to utilize specialty test equipment in daily operations to include but not limited to Insulation Resistance testing, Polarization Index Testing, Hi-Pot testing, Turns Ratio Testing, and various PLC programming tasks. Technician will be responsible for maintenance on the fuel storage system as well as receiving fuel deliveries to the site and conducting quality tests on delivery truck and fuel before being dispensed.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Work a 10 to 12-hour shift as dictated by program manager, to provide 24 hours support for the power plant.Make log book entries for all events during shift, use MS Excel and MS Word to draft various reports required in daily operation of site; which will be further defined by the requirements of the individual site and TDX site supervision.Perform all trouble-shooting, fault analysis, fault mitigation, and repair tasks, monitor power plant operation and taking readings as directed. Safely operate power generation and distribution equipment within written guidelines.Execution of extra duties as assigned by site supervision, to include but not be limited to; Property Control Manager, Tool Control Monitor, Haz-Waste Monitor, FOE Monitor, and Safety Manager.Work with minimal supervision or direction to solve problems with a variety of variables; trouble shoot and repair equipment malfunctions. Must exhibit critical thinking in troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing TDX Reach Back Support for technical assistance.Record accurate readings of all instrumentation and various monitoring equipment detailing important data relevant to plants operation including kWH produced, fuel consumption, voltage, HZ.Comply with all required environmental health and safety programs.Be available as needed, to support operations issues that may arise, unless specific approval has been given by supervision to be out of range of the operations location.Work extended work schedules and perform on call duties as required supporting the project execution plans and schedules.Perform other duties as assigned.



    Qualifications

    Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance or Interim Secret Level security clearance.High School diploma or equivalent.Working knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and general NFPA and OSHA safety standards for working around energized equipment and moving machinery.Familiarity with UPS systems, PLC systems, High, Medium and Low voltage distribution systems, control circuitry, control logic, automatic and manual transfer systems preferred.     Maintain and repair electrical underground distribution equipment such as substations, switches, capacitors, transformers, concrete foundations; installs electrical cable in ducts or direct burial; installs cable risers; splices and terminates non-leaded high voltage cables; performs substation construction such as installation of structures, switches, insulators, buses, foundations and associated equipment.
    Maintain and repair all overhead distribution equipment to include cabling, transformers, and all associated overhead distribution.
    When needed, climb poles to perform needed repairs, utilizing proper climbing practices and safety procedures.
    Perform installation design and construction of new services or distribution system projects.
    Perform general electrical maintenance on customer services, must be able to wire and install meter bases, and perform maintenance and testing for customers residential and commercial electrical service.
    Operate heavy equipment and bucket truck as necessary to perform needed repairs to distribution system.
    Advise of any system changes and provide the necessary paperwork required to document changes, provide recommendations for upgrades, repair, and system modifications.
    Perform inspections on customer installed new services as needed.
    Perform line locates as necessary.
    Assist in maintaining site inventory lists and the requisitions supplies, materials, and repair parts for projects.
    Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electrical components and systems.
    Provide wiring diagrams, specifications, instructions and supervision during emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work being performed.
    Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
    Follow National Electric Safety Code and all other regulatory requirements.
    Without direct supervision, solve practical problems with a variety of variables.
    Manage emergencies and special support work, such as utility outages and/or any special event(s).
    Perform meter reading duties as necessary.
    Comply with all required environmental, health, and safety programs.
    Act in the role of public relations and serve as a point of contact for customers.
    Assure all consumer complaints are handled in a professional manner that best serves TDX Power.
    Secondary to primary responsibilities, may be required to assist plant operator with maintenance of power plant facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
    Perform other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 3 years work in the electrical field as a high school diploma or equivalent; its preferred applicant must have 3-5 years work experience in underground and overhead utility electrical lineman duties.
    Hold a current Journeyman Lineman or Electricians License- State of Alaska fitness certification
    A valid drivers license issued by state of residence and in good standing; CDL license required.
    Ability to successfully read, understand and decipher electrical drawings and schematics to include the symbols, terminology pertaining to distribution drawings and schematics as utilized within the company.
    Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters while performing analysis and repair work
    Experience working in diverse geographical locations, such as remote Alaska. Ability to work extended work schedules, often in unpleasant weather conditions; in and outdoors
    Working knowledge of principles of diesel power generation maintenance and experience in diesel equipment maintenance and repair preferred.
    Hazwoper Response certification preferred.
    Experience in fuel delivery or similar activity, including experience operating commercial vehicles.
    Qualified to operate a forklift, loader, and standard truck.
    Broad knowledge in maintenance methods and practices
    Ability to work extended work schedules as required to support operations.
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and relationships
    U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status required.
    May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

    TDX Manley Generating is recruiting for a Power Plant Operator. This is a temporary position, scheduled to last 2 to 4 weeks, located in Manley Hot Springs, AK. This position reports to the Utility Operations Manager.


    JOB SUMMARY

    Work independently and with a team to maintain facilities and grounds. Incumbent will work in the diesel power plant to help maintain the facilities and the diesel generators. Part of the job includes reading meters, basic cleaning and maintenance on the premises surrounding the power plant and Solar PV Farm. This requires attention to safety regulations for the industry and is important for overall safety on the job. Perform assembly, commissioning, testing, repair and maintenance on diesel generators, solar arrays, battery storage, facilities and related equipment at site.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Conduct and review safety analyses of potential electrical and mechanical hazards in the power plant and switch room
    Support Root Cause Analyses to assist in determining equipment failure and the reasons for failures when they occur
    Complete required and accurate documentation associated with corrective and preventive maintenance of solar arrays and associated equipment; maintain records of documentation
    Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and/or retrofit low to medium voltage electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components and equipment associated with diesel generators
    Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures
    Perform preventative maintenance activities safely and efficiently on solar PV arrays and associated equipment located on the solar PV farm
    Utilize appropriate safety gear, protective equipment, and control or dissipation of energy sources to ensure work is performed in a safe manner
    Conduct safety analysis and review of hazards and energy sources before and while performing any work assignment on the Solar PV farm
    Properly maintain tools and equipment used to perform assigned maintenance assignments
    Maintain required training certifications and qualifications to enable personnel to safely perform work-related tasks in a quality manner
    Perform monthly meter reads
    Other responsibilities as assigned


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
    A certificate or two-year degree program in applied sciences is preferred.
    One year of generation mechanic, Solar PV and battery storage experience, strong preferred or very good mechanical skills.
    Ability to travel for work and/or training for extended periods of time.
    Ability to work extended work schedules, often in unpleasant weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
    Demonstrated ability to work in locations above the ground.
    A valid drivers license issued by the state of residence and in good standing.
    Required to pass a background investigation.
