    ARCHITECTURAL JOB CAPTAIN - Irvine

    A TCA Job Captain is responsible for design development, construction document preparation and team coordination on multifamily and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, the use of building materials and related construction techniques and general construction types.


    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 4 to 6 years architectural experience with 2 to 4 years of experience in multi-family projects required
    • Minimum of 4 to 6 years Revit experience required
    • Minimum of 2 years of construction administration experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of building construction types l, lll and V
    • Strong understanding of IBC, CBC and disabled access requirement
    • Good understanding of consultant drawings and systems
    •Hand sketch details prior to producing Revit drawings
    • Possess excellent organizational skills


    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
    • California licensed Architect or on track to become licensed preferred

    Position Location:
    The Job Captain will be working in our Irvine Office. We offer a schedule of working Monday - Wednesday in the office and working Thursday & Friday from home.

    Salary Range:
    $75,000 - $115,000

    TCA is looking for a passionate, design oriented individual who is interested in multi-family design to join our growing team. An Architectural Designer will support Senior Designers with graphics, 3D modeling, renderings, presentations, materials boards, color-blocking and design studies. We require skills in the following programs: SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. The candidate may also assist the Job Captain in the production of construction documents.

    Qualifications:

    1-3 years Architectural experience Minimum of 1 year Sketchup and Revit experienceExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to prioritize & multi-task Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or higher On track to be licensed

    Position Location:

    The Architectural Designer will be located in our downtown Oakland office. We offer a hybrid schedule of working Monday – Wednesday in the office and Thursday and Friday working from home.

    Salary Range:

    $28.00 - $38.00/hour ($58,240 - $79,040/yearly)

    PROJECT MANAGER – Oakland

    We are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to work directly with our Studio Director (SD) to direct a project team in the schematic design process, throughout the production of contract documents, and into construction administration. In addition to the SD, the PM will collaborate with designers and other project teams, as well as our internal Quality Control team, to efficiently deliver the design intent of the project. Tasks include oversight of the complete contract documents, including redlining drawings and specifications, monitoring of budgets and billings, preparation of additional service requests, coordination and management of consultants, and training and mentoring of the documentation team.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager working on multi-family projects required with excellent experience of Type 1 & 5 constructionKnowledge of Revit requiredConstruction administration experience preferredExcellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Architecture requiredCalifornia licensed Architect preferred
