Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate care to patients of all ages in an urgent care settingPerform thorough histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluationsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, lab work, and EKGsManage and treat a wide range of acute conditions, including infections, minor injuries, and exacerbations of chronic illnessesPerform urgent care based procedures such as:Laceration repair and wound careIncision and drainage of abscessesSplinting, immobilization, and simple fracture managementJoint injections and aspirationsForeign body removal (skin, soft tissue, eye, ear, nose)Burn care and managementThe Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S., offering excellent schools, diverse cultural amenities, and year-round recreational opportunities.
