    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our growing Urgent Care team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, skilled clinician who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable treating patients of all ages with a wide range of acute medical needs.

    This position offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine within a supportive and collaborative team.

    Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate care to patients of all ages in an urgent care settingPerform thorough histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluationsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, lab work, and EKGsManage and treat a wide range of acute conditions, including infections, minor injuries, and exacerbations of chronic illnessesPerform urgent care based procedures such as:Laceration repair and wound careIncision and drainage of abscessesSplinting, immobilization, and simple fracture managementJoint injections and aspirationsForeign body removal (skin, soft tissue, eye, ear, nose)Burn care and management
    IV fluid administration and medication injectionsCollaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinic staffDocument all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine/Pediatrics considered) Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)Current DEA and CPR/BLS certifications (ACLS and PALS preferred)Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care Schedule & Compensation Flexible scheduling options: full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts available10 or 12-hour shifts available
