We’re hiring a Maintenance Group Leader (2nd Shift) to lead a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

What You’ll DoLead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and team leadersTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsDrive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtimeSupport production by ensuring equipment uptime and efficient operationsImplement and sustain lean manufacturing / TPS principlesCoordinate maintenance schedules, staffing, and daily prioritiesPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and KPI performanceWhat You’ll Work OnAutomated manufacturing equipmentRobotics and PLC-controlled systemsHigh-volume automotive production linesPreventive and predictive maintenance systems
What You BringRequired3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment1–2+ years of leadership or supervisory experienceStrong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsPreferredExperience with PLCs, robotics, or automated equipmentAutomotive manufacturing experienceExperience with lean manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS)Technical degree or skilled trades certificationSchedule3rd Shift (hours will be discussed during interview)Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needsWhy This Role Matters
