    Mechanical Assembler – 2nd Shift

    Irvine, CA
    Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
    $18.00–$20.00+/hour DOE
    ⏰ Overtime Available


    Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and looking to grow your manufacturing career? We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in Irvine.

    This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, aerospace, medical device, or production experience. We are willing to train candidates who have a strong work ethic, good attendance, and a desire to learn.


    What You'll Do

    ·         Assemble small components and products according to work instructions.

    ·         Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

    ·         Use basic measuring tools, such as calipers, when needed.

    ·         Read and follow work instructions and production paperwork.

    ·         Maintain accurate production records.

    ·         Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

    ·         Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.


    Qualifications

    ·         At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or a related environment preferred.

    ·         Good hand dexterity and attention to detail.

    ·         Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.

    ·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    ·         Strong attendance and reliability.


    Experience That Is a Plus

    ·         Mechanical or electronic assembly

    ·         Aerospace or medical device manufacturing

    ·         Clean room experience

    ·         Blueprint reading

    ·         Calipers or measuring tools

    ·         Inspection experience

    ·         Precision manufacturing


    We are willing to train motivated candidates with related manufacturing experience.

    Product Commercialization & Compliance Specialist / DIRECT HIRE

     

    About the Opportunity

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Commercialization & Compliance Specialist to join our team in Torrance, CA. This role serves as the bridge between our customers, brand standards, and production team, ensuring products move smoothly from customer specifications to commercial production while maintaining regulatory and brand compliance.

    The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing, product commercialization, labeling compliance, and managing cross-functional projects. If you enjoy working with customers, coordinating new product launches, and ensuring products meet regulatory requirements, we'd love to hear from you.

     

    What You'll Do

    Product Commercialization

    Lead new product launches and line extensions from customer specification through commercial production.Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Operations.Manage commercialization timelines, milestones, and product launch activities.Translate customer requirements into actionable production and packaging plans.Support feasibility, costing, and production readiness discussions.Serve as the primary liaison during new SKU launches, packaging changes, and product reformulations.Maintain accurate customer specification files and version control.

     

    Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities

    Review and approve product labels, packaging artwork, and marketing claims for compliance with FDA and customer requirements.Ensure compliance with food labeling regulations, allergen declarations, and nutritional claims.Maintain documentation for product specifications, label approvals, and customer records.Partner with Quality Assurance to support GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements.Identify and resolve compliance issues before products go to market.

     

    Recipe & Product Data Management

    Maintain recipe libraries and supporting documentation.Assist with recipe lookups and product image management.Support data entry and maintenance within nutritional software and customer portals.Ensure ingredient, nutritional, and product information remains accurate and up to date.

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, product commercialization, regulatory compliance, or customer specifications.Knowledge of FDA labeling requirements, allergen regulations, and GMP/HACCP programs preferred.Experience managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Experience in custom manufacturing or private-label food production is a plus.

     

    Preferred Experience

    Food manufacturing or confectionery industry experience.Product labeling and specification management.New product commercialization and product launch experience.Nutritional software experience such as Genesis is a plus but not required.

    Products launch on time and meet customer expectations.Zero compliance findings related to labeling and brand requirements.Accurate and organized product specifications and documentation.Strong communication and collaboration across departments and with customers.
