Employment Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain safe operation of tractor/trailer
2. Constant climbing in and out of tractor, winding landing gear, and opening/shutting swing doors
3. Ability to comprehend/prioritize yard moves in YMS using tablet/smart device
4. Must be able to maintain efficiency solely, and within team to ensure proper yard management
5. Maintain and uphold finished product specifications
6. Comply within all guidelines of the DOT
7. Comply within all laws of the FMCSR
8. Monitor temperatures of trailers and maintain required temperatures
9. Maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations
10. Transfer empty and loaded trailers from docks to yard and yard to docks
11. Ensure that all post trip and pre trip inspections are performed
12. Notify dispatch of any safety issues with trailers/tractors
13. Maintain fuel levels in trailers/tractors
14. Complete scheduled yard checks/temperature verification during each shift
15. Ensure all trailers loaded or empty are closed and secured
16. Perform yard check of all trailers loaded and empty
17. Follow all GMP and PPE procedures per Taylor Farms requirements
18. Follow all safety rules and regulations per Taylor Farms requirements
19. Follow any, and all additional duties/responsibilities as assigned by Transportation Manager
