    The Executive Assistant to the Chairwoman is the personal assistant to the principal, providing personalized administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner.

    POSITION SUMMARY:
    These roles focus on the interior and exterior infrastructure, facility maintenance, repairs, vendor relationships and grounds and structure to “The Property” at Eagle River, WI.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to manage multiple projects Prepare the inside of the property for seasonal changes and needs Work together to take care of any additional needs for the Property and guestsAble to operate household appliances and equipment needed to maintain the interior of the propertyCommunicate effectivelyAble to operate equipment, such as boats, jet skis, lawn mower equipment, pool equipment, snow removal equipment, and other seasonal and operational equipment needed to maintain the property
    INTERIOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect the interior regularly and ensure it is maintained and running according to the owner’s expectations and standards. Clean interior of main lodge, conference center, and upper boathouseHelp manage property expenses Purchase supplies needed to maintain the propertyStock household and office with the appropriate supplies Maintain linens and laundry needs Have the household prepared for guests, which includes the cabana and towelsPrepare the kitchen with supplies Maintain interior according to weather conditions and needs
    PROPERTY OPERATIONS:Managing upkeep of grounds, gardens, and all buildings associated with the propertyRegularly walking through property and maintaining high maintenance standardsMaintain instruction files and manuals, and warrantiesScheduling and overseeing renovationsKeep interior and exterior of property clean Maintaining exterior grounds to include mowing the lawn, planting and caring for flowers, shrubs, removing snow, and removing debris and other projects to maintain the integrity of the exterior and various weather conditionsHandle emergency repairs or work with the appropriate vendor to resolve the needMaintain preventative maintenance scheduled and test protocols, mechanical systems, vehicles, and power equipmentMaintaining pool equipment and usage along with watercraft equipmentEstablish direct vendors for plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, security systems, fire alarms, swimming pool, vehicles, septic, irrigation systems, power equipment, pest control, fire safety equipment, landscaping, and internet systems. Knowledge of cleaning boats, jet skis, and power tool equipment Order flowers for planting for the fall Tend to property flowers and plantings: planting, watering, pruning, and deer control Assist the primary Caretaker with additional grounds support as needed

    The Controller provides financial oversight of and direct accounting services for Tawani Enterprises, selected limited liability companies, non-profit organizations, and affiliated partnerships.  The services include accounts payable, invoices and accounts receivable, account reconciliations, cash management, preparation of all financial reports, and assistance with special projects as required by the CFO.

    ESSENTIAL POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance requiredCertified Public Accountant 10 – 15 years of experience in financial accounting to include experience with general corporate and real estate accountingExperience in leading and developing teamsNonprofit experience and multi-entity environment accountingSome tax return preparation (non-profit and partnership), contract management, and development accountingIntermediate to expert facility with Microsoft Office, Yardi, QuickBooks or other comparable software requiredFamiliarity with conversion processes extremely helpfulExtremely detail oriented, strong technology and communication skills, and a proven team player essentialASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Coordinate the preparation of the monthly financial statements and flash reports on a timely basis while also seeking to continually refine and improve that reporting.  Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and cash position variance analysis.Manage the accounting department staff in a manner that continues to develop staff, provides continuity and backup, and produces a positive and supporting working environment consistent with Tawani as a whole.Assist in the design, preparation and monitoring of budgets for all entities.Coordinate forecasts of operations for all entities.Assist in working with business heads to provide business and financial support.  Ensure that all invoicing and collections, vendor payments and servicing of the department’s clients are handled on a timely and accurate basis.Design, implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls and review.Coordinate, prepare for and support annual external audits for all entities on a timely basis.Furnish the information necessary for the preparation of the annual tax returns for each entity.Review reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts for all entities on a monthly basis including all bank accounts, fixed assets and depreciation, construction accounts, partner equity accounts, intercompany activity, and all other payables, accruals and assets.    Responsible for the monthly management fee assessments and leased employee charges shared between entities.Responsible for providing timely financial information as necessary to satisfy legal, insurance, regulatory and other purposes as required.  Responsible for administering any accounting systems employed by the department including assisting in the selection, design and implementation of any new systems.Responsible for other special projects needed by the CFO and/or the executive team.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision401K MatchPaid Time OffSick Time
