Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Tank Security Team is looking for a motivated and professional Security Officer to help keep the energy positive and the environment safe at special events, theatres, and local entertainment venues across Lincoln, NE. Ninety-nine percent of our work occurs between Thursday and Sunday morning, concluding no later than 3 a.m. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of Lincoln's live entertainment scene while making a real impact on guest and staff safety. Responsibilities:Monitor and patrol assigned areas at special events, theatre productions, and entertainment venuesControl access points, check credentials, and manage crowd flow at entry and exit locationsRespond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessaryEnforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulationsConduct pre-event walkthroughs and security assessments of venue spacesProvide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presenceWrite accurate incident reports and document any security-related eventsRequirements:Strong situational awareness and conflict de-escalation skillsAbility to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during eventsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitudeAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events requireReliable, punctual, and professional appearance and demeanorAbout Us:Tank Security Team is a respected leader in event and venue security, proudly serving the Lincoln, NE community.
