    Primary Function of the Position The Human Factors Engineer has primary responsibility to conduct research to gain a deep understanding of users, uses and use environments; perform task analysis, analyze and characterize use-related risks; conduct iterative formative evaluations and final usability validation of Intuitive products prior to launch.

    Essential Job Duties:
    Collect and synthesize detailed information about how users interact with Intuitive Surgical s products through various techniques including interviews, simulations and task analysis.
    Present results of research, and usability testing to the New Product Development organization.
    Contribute to user interface designs by providing guidance, ideas, and feedback to product development team.
    Analyze complaints from on-market products for usability-related issues.
    Support the design, execution, and reporting on usability (human factors) tests at various stages of product development from early prototypes all the way through formal FDA mandated validation testing.
    Work with cross functional teams to create and maintain usability risk analyses and user interface requirements for Intuitive Surgical s products.
    Maintain traces between use risks, mitigations, and validation test cases.
    Keep abreast of regulations and best practices for medical device human factors (e.g. IEC 62366, AAMI HE75, FDA Applying Human Factors and Usability Engineering to Medical Devices).

    Required Skills and Experience:
    5 years relevant HF experience in industry.
    Superior ability to empathize with people and to understand the human condition.
    Ability to interface with customers in a highly professional manner.
    Excellent communication (verbal, written, and formal presentation) and collaboration skills.
    Ability to analyze and synthesize large quantities of information into usable communications.
    Ability to work with and across various groups within the organization, including other engineering groups, product management, clinical engineering, and regulatory.
    Ability to apply user-centered design and usability engineering principles to product research, development, and design.
    Ability to travel domestically (up to 25%)

    Required Education and Training:
    BS or MS in Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science with human-computer interface (HCI) emphasis, Human Centered Design, or related field.

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with specialized CVOR experience to join our surgical team.     Key Responsibilities

    Surgical Support & Asepsis: Create and maintain a sterile field (asepsis). Perform expert scrubbing duties, anticipate surgeon needs, and track/account for all equipment, instruments, and supplies used during the procedure.

    Patient Care Coordination: Assist Registered Nurses in planning patient care and collaborate effectively with the broader healthcare team. Please note: This role acts as support during the procedure and does not act as a formal surgical assistant.

    Environment & Equipment Care: Maintain cleanliness within the unit. Properly clean, care for, and handle specialized surgical equipment before, during, and after cases.

    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan.

    Requirements:

    Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Current BLS certification (AHA) required. Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Summary:
    Coordinates Medicare and Medicaid enrollment/re-enrollment and managed care credentialing and contracting processes for providers. Serves as administrator for the billing system and assists practices with system issues. Maintains NPI files and provider numbers. Serves as customer service liaison. Monitors accounts receivable to maintain appropriate levels and reviews payments to maximize reimbursement. Interacts with patients, insurance carriers, the billing vendor, and practice personnel concerning patient accounts. Performs all functions in a courteous and professional manner. Responsibilities: Collects and maintains data on providers for Medicare and Medicaid enrollment Prepares and submits applications to Medicare and Medicaid for new provider enrollments and existing provider updates; follows up by telephone or in writing, with carriers regarding application status Complies with Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment guidelines Requests NPI numbers for providers and clinics as necessary and maintains NPI files Follows up, either by telephone or in writing, with insurance companies and patients regarding the processing of outstanding claims and/or appeals Generates various reports to identify outstanding claims issues with provider numbers and non-payment Communicates information to appropriate personnel Educates staff on corrections, e.g.. front-end entry errors in a positive, constructive manner Collects and reviews managed care contracts for correct billing and payment terms Identifies problem accounts.
