    Operator I Job Description
    This is a non-exempt position. This position is responsible for the production
    of high quality medical devices within a cleanroom environment.
    1. Working under close supervision, may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on medical Catheters.
    2. Maintain Compliance and Quality while performing routine assignments according to standardized procedures.
    3. Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions.
    4. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers.
    5. Follow safety guidelines while onsite.
    6. As an FDA regulated company, maintaining accurate documentation
    ensures all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed.
    7. Have the ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
    8. Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts under microscope.
    9. Ability to seat and stand for long periods of time.
    10. Able to perform repeated tasks such as grab, pinch, pull, twist.
    11. Sought after experience:
    a. Manual Assembling of medical devices.
    b. Assemble and use tools under the microscope for long periods of time.
    c. Hand soldering.
    d. Cleanroom environment.
    e.     Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Manufacturing & Warehouse Associate
    Schedule: 6 AM to 6 PM (3/4 days a week)

    Hours of Work
    Overtime may be required.
    Rotating schedule, must be available to work any day of the week including weekends

    Must be willing/able to operate a forklift. Prior forklift experience is not required. 

    Purpose
    Associates are responsible for performing multiple tasks that ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment for the automotive industry from raw materials.

    Responsibilities
    Effectively and efficiently communicate with other employees
    Operate production machinery and computers
    Ensure work space is maintained to 5S standards; clean and orderly
    Know and adhere to all Safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), plant work rules, Company policies and procedures.
    Provide training to other contractors on various topics as assigned and maintain all required training as well as any certifications
    Work in a team environment to optimize output of quality product, assist others as necessary, and promote safety awareness

    Working Conditions
    Work is typically performed indoors with light lifting, turning, pivoting, and reaching. Heavy lifting may occur in rare instances. Exposure to elements of dirt, dust, fumes, oils, lights, and noises is expected.

    Educational Requirements
    · High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
    · At least 18 years of age.

    Physical Requirements
    · Vision correctable to 20/20
    · Lifting of weight up to 50 lbs. to waist height and 30 lbs. to shoulder height
    · Hand manipulation of materials, tools, keyboards, and other work items
    · Mobility over wide floor areas and ability to negotiate stairs
    · Remain standing for periods exceeding two (2) hours
    · Ability to wear personal protective equipment

    Scope/Purpose:
    Under the supervision of a lead attorney specializing in Intellectual Property, the Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to Attorneys and Paralegals within the Intellectual Property Center of Excellence (COE) at Corning's Law Department.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Prepare specialized Intellectual Property forms, including Abandonment and Declaration documents.
    • Schedule and organize meetings efficiently.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expenses for Attorneys.
    • Independently gather and compile information following established procedures.
    • Proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
    • Manage daily routine tasks with high attention to detail.
    • Ensure all work is error-free, with thorough follow-up to complete tasks.
