The RN delivers safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care while promoting customer satisfaction and quality clinical outcomes. The RN focuses on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction while applying professional judgment, clinical expertise, and mentoring skills in the delivery of high-quality care. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff and may serve as a mentor or preceptor. Key Responsibilities Assessment Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments in accordance with policies, procedures, and patient condition Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and independent decision-making Development Implementation Initiate, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Utilize organizational and clinical resources effectively to meet patient and family needs Evaluation Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions Education Facilitate, coordinate, provide, and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs Ensure education supports care, treatment, services, and discharge planning Leadership Professional Practice Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel appropriately Function as a mentor and/or preceptor to staff Promote teamwork and effective communication Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in quality, safety, and service initiatives Implement practice changes in compliance with regulatory standards Actively participate in the Practice Governance model Skills Experience Required Minimum two (2) years of acute care RN experience Education Required Nursing Diploma OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Certifications Licensure Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS (Basic Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Schedule Assignment Details Shift: Night Shift 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Hours per Day: 12 Hours per Week: 36 Days per Week: 3 Weekends: Every other weekend required Additional Requirements Active Indiana RN license Epic EMR experience BLS NIHSS certification Minimum 2 years RN experience If you have any concerns or preferences regarding shifts, weekly pay, or location, please let me know.
