Position Overview
PSA Architects is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial architectural projects from initial design through construction documentation.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in architecture, architectural engineering, interior design, or commercial construction who is ready to take the next step into project management. You'll work alongside senior project managers, architects, engineers, and clients while gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and developing into a fully independent Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing commercial architectural projects from concept through completion.
Coordinate project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables across internal teams.
Serve as a point of communication between clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and production staff.
Track project progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP engineering disciplines.
Assist with project planning, permitting, and consultant coordination.
Monitor project budgets, scope changes, and documentation throughout each phase.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in architecture, commercial design, construction, or project coordination.
Experience with commercial tenant improvement or commercial construction projects preferred.
Working knowledge of construction documents and project coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Represent TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Able to accept direction and/or lead and delegate the work if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems. Reports To: General Superintendent or Foreman/Superintendent FLSA: Non-Exempt Position Summary: Work includes coordination, installation, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. Individuals should be able to read and understand blueprints, communicate effectively with all other people on the project, including our subcontractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Should be able to accept directions and/or lead and delegate the work if necessary. Focus on safety and safety practices first and foremost at all task inceptions. Responsibilities and Duties: • Coordinate, install, and/or repair sanitary, storm, domestic water, fuel oil and natural gas systems including fixtures and equipment for plumbing systems and heating and cooling equipment systems. • Perform field fabrication of plumbing and piping systems and set up the specific task or project schedule. • Make adjustments to work sequences to meet construction schedules, using own knowledge of equipment and lower-level personnel capacities. • Manage materials to ensure timely completion of the work scheduled. Ensure optimal material consumption. • Read blueprints and interpret specifications. • Correct punch-list items and make distribution as required. • Plan work to make the most efficient use of assigned manpower and other resources. • Inspect work-in-progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification. • Ensure the needs of general contractors, owners, and other customers as well as entrusted employees are met. • Keep the superintendent or project manager aware of all issues affecting production and schedule. • Assist project manager and superintendents with problems or questions in an accurate and timely manner. • Attend, as required, all jobsite and office meetings related to assigned projects. • Serve as a coach and mentor to lower echelon to help them develop and improve their skills and increase their technical knowledge. • Strengthen skills to encourage improvement in other plumbers or fitters. • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: • Experience/Qualifications Required: o 5 years commercial experience in field plumbing or heating operations. o Prior shop experience a plus. o Stable work history. Job Skills: • Ability to read blueprints. • Knowledge of plumbing and piping installation. • Ability to fabricate offsets. • Working knowledge of all hand and power tools. • Able to do take-offs. • Able to install equipment. • Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity. • Good math skills. Education: • High School or GED Equivalent. • Journeyman license. • Trade School a plus. • Willing to obtain additional trade licenses and/or certifications. Physical Requirements: • Eyesight correctable to 20/50. • Able to work long hours on feet. • Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds. • Able to perform shift work. • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs. • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Must not be afraid of heights. Special Requirements: • Valid Driver’s License. • Must provide own basic hand tools. • Able to operate heavy machinery. • OSHA 10 certificate
