As a Sales Associate you will work for our 6-week Spring Vendor Managed Program merchandising flowers and providing customer services to our clientele inside of Costco stores across the Colorado region.


    Sales Associates set, organize, care for, and sell products such as annual flowers, perennials, vegetables, herbs, and other plants within different retail stores. This position requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment handling a high volume of perishable products. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and optimize sales. Previous experience in retail, greenhouse, customer service, sales, or merchandising is helpful but not required.

    All Sales Associates are hired as a seasonal, temporary employee to help with our 6 Week intensive program (approximately April - June). Hours and schedules are not guaranteed and are based on the scheduling and retail needs of Merchandising Supervisors and InColor management. Opportunities to work within a different InColor position after season end are extremely limited; when opportunities are available, promotions/continuation of employment is based on the needs of the business, individual worker performance, availability, location, and applicable skills/experience.

    Merchandising live goods for optimum visibility and sales. Organize plants by type on metal racks on wheels and displays within a retail environment (typically hybrid indoor/outdoor space).Consolidate products placed on metal racks on wheels. Rotate/cycle stock throughout the shift to encourage sales.Create signs and track inventory. Update labels on sale items as instructed by the Merchandising Supervisor/InColor Management.Pull racks of product from receiving or back of store after deliveries and remove empty racks from the front vestibule area.Set-up and clean/sweep around display areasCare for live plant products, clean, and cull dead/wilted product (e.g. "dead heading"/pinch off old foliage, pruning, cycling product, etc.)Moisture management / water dry plants per program requirements and refill watering tank (Aquamate)Speak with clients, managers, and customers about inventory within your store, and assist in providing customer service within a client location.This position works both independently and in a team for various tasks. Los trabajadores generales de invernaderos pueden ser asignados a diferentes procesos/departamentos según la época del año y reportar directamente a un supervisor de operaciones en nuestra facilidad de Norte (en Brighton, CO). Además de cuidar las plantas, los trabajadores también deben mantener la limpieza del área, seguir la estructura del supervisor y actuar de acuerdo con las normas y reglamentos establecidos por TGE.


    Este es un puesto estacional, con diferentes beneficios y salarios que los trabajadores de todo el año. Las fechas de la temporada alta pueden fluctuar según las ventas anuales, el clima, las necesidades comerciales, por instalación, pero este año se espera aproximadamente del 1 de diciembre al 22 de mayo (+/- 2-3 semanas según las necesidades comerciales).


    El idioma principal que se habla en las comunicaciones diarias es el español con instrucción/interpretación en inglés disponible a pedido en las instalaciones de Brighton North. Algunos miembros del personal hablan inglés / español y otros idiomas, incluido el persa / árabe, sin embargo, la instrucción principal para las operaciones diarias suele ser en inglés / español.     Ranchos del Invernadero / Trasplantar

    Coloque perchas en la canasta, engarce cestas de alambre, envuelva cubiertas alrededor de las plantas o prepare las plantas cavando, atando o envolviendo según las instrucciones del supervisor.Trabajar con plantas, mover, plantar, pinchar, espaciar, suspender canastos, poner charolas/contenedores en las bancas, trasplantar plugs, etcUtilice tijeras o un cuchillo pequeño para podar o tomar esquejes de plantas madre con fines de propagación.

    Instalar/mantener sistemas de riego y líneas de agua.Riegue/irrigue las plantas o aplique fertilizantes/pesticidas/fungicidas utilizando una manguera/varita cuando no haya equipos de riego automatizados disponibles.Cavar y mantener zanjas, limpiar escombros del campo y limpiar/mantener invernaderos, estructuras, equipos y áreas de trabajo agrícolas.Ayudar con el mantenimiento y las reparaciones de la construcción/campo de la granja. Reparar/construir vallas o barreras.

    Colación, Almacén (dock), Envió y Recepción

    Jalar y procesar plugs y ordenes terminados de acuerdo con la documentación, el modo de envío y las instrucciones dadas por el Supervisor de Colación.Organizar el producto en las áreas de envió (dock) para cargar, tirar y ensamblar pedidos de acuerdo con las instrucciones.Mover ordenes, los materiales recibidos, las semillas, los esquejes y la tierra a las áreas designadas para mantener el inventario.Cargar/descargar camiones de acuerdo con ROR y rutas.Construir, mantener o desmontar camiones.

    En adición a las responsabilidades escritas arriba, Trabajadores se les va a pedir asistir con varios proyectos alrededor del invernadero cuando sea necesario y dirigido por supervisor. Supervisores se comunican rutinariamente con los trabajadores; sin embargo, es posible que se requiera que setos trabajen de forma independiente o en grupos pequeños, donde las instrucciones del supervisor se dan a un contacto principal (líder) dentro del grupo y se requiere que trabaje en tareas e informe a un líder o supervisor relacionado con métricas o progreso.

    Requirements:

    Job Title: Sales Associate

    Pay: $20/hour (starting wage); $20.50-$21/hour+ (rehires based on experience)

    Status: Seasonal/Temporary (Approximately 6 weeks from approx. March 30th to May 30th +/- 1-2 weeks based on sales volume)

    Schedule: Based on store needs. Weekend availability highly preferred. Morning shift approximately 6AM to 2PM; Afternoon shift approximately 12PM to 6/8PM. Closing shifts must have availability until 6:00PM-8:00PM (store dependent)

We are a plant vendor providing annuals, perennials, ground cover, and vegetables to different stores across the Colorado region. As a Sales Associate you will work for our 6-week Spring Vendor Managed Program merchandising flowers and providing customer services to our clientele inside of Costco stores across the Colorado region.


    Sales Associates set, organize, care for, and sell products such as annual flowers, perennials, vegetables, herbs, and other plants within different retail stores. This position requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment handling a high volume of perishable products. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and optimize sales. Previous experience in retail, greenhouse, customer service, sales, or merchandising is helpful but not required.

    All Sales Associates are hired as a seasonal, temporary employee to help with our 6 Week intensive program (approximately April - June). Hours and schedules are not guaranteed and are based on the scheduling and retail needs of Merchandising Supervisors and InColor management. Opportunities to work within a different InColor position after season end are extremely limited; when opportunities are available, promotions/continuation of employment is based on the needs of the business, individual worker performance, availability, location, and applicable skills/experience.


    Essential Functions/Duties

    Merchandising live goods for optimum visibility and sales. Organize plants by type on metal racks on wheels and displays within a retail environment (typically hybrid indoor/outdoor space).Consolidate products placed on metal racks on wheels. Rotate/cycle stock throughout the shift to encourage sales.Create signs and track inventory. Update labels on sale items as instructed by the Merchandising Supervisor/InColor Management.Pull racks of product from receiving or back of store after deliveries and remove empty racks from the front vestibule area.Set-up and clean/sweep around display areasCare for live plant products, clean, and cull dead/wilted product (e.g. "dead heading"/pinch off old foliage, pruning, cycling product, etc.)Moisture management / water dry plants per program requirements and refill watering tank (Aquamate)Speak with clients, managers, and customers about inventory within your store, and assist in providing customer service within a client location.This position works both independently and in a team for various tasks. When the store is open to the public or members, there should always be a team member present in the vestibule to provide customer service.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating with clients, managers, vendors, co-workers, and employees in a respectful manner.Report feedback from stores, concerns, and details regarding the store's performance to a Merchandising Supervisor and escalate issues that could impact sales or the team in a timely manner.

    In addition to the above responsibilities, Sales Associates may be required to assist with various projects within client locations as needed and directed by a Merchandising Supervisor and InColor Management including but not limited to updating inventory using company software, completing inventory counts, and assisting with other nearby stores within the territory.
