    We are looking for an experienced senior attorney to help clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters. You will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement their legal support plan. You should have previous trial experience, be able to manage a heavy caseload, and use your general counsel experience and interpersonal skills to mentor our lower-level associates to ensure a continued legacy of prosperity.     Compensation:

    $165,000 - $190,000 + origination bonuses + performance incentives


    Responsibilities:Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and lawsGet appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responsesAnticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clientsAttend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs

    What You’ll Do

    As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will:

    Manage complex personal injury matters from intake through resolutionLead depositions, expert examinations, mediations, and motion practiceServe as first-chair in smaller trials or second-chair in complex jury trialsCollaborate on trial themes and litigation strategyMentor associates and litigation support staff

    Required Qualifications

    Active Georgia Bar license 7–10 years of personal injury litigation experience Minimum of five (5) jury trials with first-chair experience in smaller trials OR consistent second-chair experience in complex jury trials Leads depositions of key fact and expert witnesses Handles dispositive motions and evidentiary hearings with minimal input Begins to specialize in catastrophic injury, trucking, medical malpractice, or wrongful death Strategic thinker who can outline trial themes and case narratives Demonstrates confidence in mentoring associates and influencing team direction. Expands involvement in professional associations (e.g., GTLA, AAJ). Demonstrated experience managing cases independently Strong motion practice and deposition experience 


    Preferred Qualifications  

    Additional bar admissions Appellate experience Demonstrated involvement in community, policy, or legal service initiatives

    Responsibilities:Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documentsInterview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect informationDocument and update the status of all case files in the case management systemGather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liabilityDelegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary

    What You’ll Do

    Drive litigation strategy on complex, high-value personal injury matters from intake through verdict or resolution, serving as primary architect of case themes and executionServe as first-chair trial counsel in jury and bench trials, leading voir dire, openings, direct and cross examinations, and closing argumentsOversee and elevate trial preparation across case teams, including motion strategy, expert development, discovery planning, and settlement positioningSupervise and develop attorneys within your POD, providing coaching on courtroom presence, strategy, and case managementPartner with firm leadership to strengthen litigation systems, trial readiness, and overall docket qualityShape firm-wide litigation standards, ensuring consistency, excellence, and accountability in case outcomesContribute to business development efforts, including referral partner relationships and professional visibility within the Georgia PI community
    Qualifications:Computer proficiency is essentialBachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is requiredA minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessaryKnowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vitalSuperior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued

    Preferred Qualifications   

    Oversees firm-wide litigation quality; ensures consistency across trial teamsFunctions as a litigation mentor and internal “trial coach” for all attorneysPartners closely with the founding attorney on operational and strategic decisionsShapes firm’s reputation as a litigation powerhousePrepares for transition into Managing Attorney, with responsibility not just for cases but for people, profit, and processAt least seven (7) trials resolved by verdict, wherein you served as 1st chair
