Reporting directly to the office, this position focuses on a mix of preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring equipment reliability and safety in the field. The mechanic will rely on standard diagnostic tools and hands-on repair techniques, with minimal use of digital tools.
Responsibilities
Inspect heavy equipment for wear, damage, and operational issuesPerform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifeDiagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic problems using diagnostic toolsConduct safety compliance checks and maintain a safe working environmentDocument maintenance and repair activities accuratelyManage tools and equipment inventory effectively
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenanceHigh School Diploma or equivalentKnowledge and skills in diesel engine repair and hydraulic systemsProficient in preventive maintenance and diagnostic tool useStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of safety compliance standardsMechanical aptitude with effective communication skills
