Job Summary Works onsite at NSWC Dahlgren and may require occasional off-hours support (e.g. evenings). Has prior experience in a continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) environment using containerization technologies (e.g. Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and cloud environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services). Travel is not required. Responsibilities and Duties Supports code deployments, including performing troubleshooting, spin up services/pods, etc. Performs CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans. Implements Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Writes automated test scripts to assess functionality within the system User Interface (UI)
• Writes and executes thorough test cases and procedures
• Contributes to work item development (especially testing criteria)
• Troubleshoots failed automated tests
• Supports feature and validation testing across multiple domains
• Learns and utilizes project technologies for in depth error root cause analysis (e.g. RMQ) Qualifications and Skills Required knowledge and years of experience Must have at least six (6) years of experience in cybersecurity and engineering. Education Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required.
