    At the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), SA-TECH performs operational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance for aerial and seaborne assets in support of weapon systems test and evaluation and fleet training exercises. We manage all stages of aerial and seaborne target assets’ operational progression from initial inspection and configuration through deployment, return and post-operation maintenance and repair. We provide management, scheduling and execution of aerial and seaborne target operations; operation and maintenance of target recovery vessels (Aerial Vehicle Recovery [AVRs]); asset maintenance and depot repair; depot engineering assistance; recovery of aerial and seaborne assets; inventory management; and management of Government-furnished facilities, materials, vehicles and equipment.


    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Database Supervisor to lead a critical U.S. Navy contract. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of contact for all property management and logistics, while also being responsible for designing, creating, and managing mission-critical databases using Microsoft Access and Excel. This role is pivotal in overseeing day-to-day logistics, supervising a team, managing annual asset audits, and leveraging expert data management skills to ensure compliance, generate precise reports, and optimize mission-critical functions in a government environment at NBVC Point Mugu, CA.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Database and Systems Management (50%)

    Database Architecture and Creation: Lead the creation, design, and implementation of new databases from the ground up, utilizing both Microsoft Access for relational data management and Microsoft Excel for advanced modeling and analysis.Database Administration: Monitor and maintain the TMIS database (property control system) and other program databases, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security.Data Integrity and Reporting: Implement strict protocols to ensure the accuracy and integrity of government-owned data. Utilize expert-level skills in Excel and Access to perform complex data analysis, create custom reports, and build dashboards to support government reporting requirements.Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data management processes, implementing new automations and strategies to enhance efficiency and decision-making capabilities.

    Logistics and Property Management (30%)

    Property & Asset Management: Serve as the central point of contact for property management, control, acquisition, receipt, physical inventories, utilization, and movement of government-furnished property (GFP/GFE) and contractor-acquired property.Asset Audit Management: Chair, supervise, and perform the annual "Wall-to-Floor-to-Book" asset audits, taking full responsibility for the reconciliation of physical GFE against all database records and submitting the final report.Logistical Operations: Manage the day-to-day operation of material control and property administration, ensuring all GFP/GFE are properly categorized, identified, barcoded, and tracked in the TMIS database.Coordination and Oversight: Maintain close liaisons with managers, technical advisors, and the GPA to resolve property-related challenges. Oversee key aspects of the supply chain, including coordinating with suppliers and transport companies.

    Supervisory and Leadership Responsibilities (20%)

    Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of logistics and data personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.Task Delegation: Assign and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met in accordance with mission priorities.Resource Management: Manage team resources effectively, including scheduling, training, and operational assignments to ensure mission success.Additional Duties: Other duties may include special assignments from management, forklift operations, and the maintenance of HAZMAT standards.Other duties as assigned.

    Work Conditions:

    Conditions will vary; duties may be performed outdoors on shore or afloat and on uneven or wet surfaces.Requires the ability to work in a seaborne environment, with some shift work and multiple overnight assignments at remote locations.The role will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. alone and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.The work schedule is a 9/80 schedule (Monday–Thursday 9 hours, alternating Fridays between 8 hours and off).Requirements:

    Education/Experience/Skills:

    A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. A High School Diploma with extensive and directly relevant experience will be considered.     We are currently looking to hire an organized Logs & Records Clerk (Aircraft Worker) to provide Aerial Target O&M Support to Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons, Advanced Technology Test Team at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu, CA.


    This position compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and specifically, aircraft Logs and Records programs/policies/procedures.


    In this position, you gather and log production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques. You will calculate (using a computer, calculator and/or spreadsheets) such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.


    The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.

    Manage Aerial Targets and Engine Logs and Records and the associated CNAFI 4790 program controls.Develop and issue MAFs within the company-owned program (NALCOMIS/OOMA-like). Training provided but background in Aircraft Logs/Records is critical.Assist in the tracking and documentation of associated target support equipment and specialized testing gear.Analyze data gathered from documentation associated with work production MAFs.Compile and record production data related to aerial target maintenance requirements which include target air vehicles, associated support equipment and or special test equipment during build up, test and refurbishment.Compile and record production and planned maintenance completion data into specific logbooks for targets; support equipment and target launchers.Based on technical background, could involve direct support to BQM-74, BQM-34, and BQM-177 target operations by assisting in target build-up, target transportation, and target decontamination processes.Requires ability to interpret technical manuals.Other duties as assigned.

    We are currently seeking to hire an Aircraft Mechanic Helper at our Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA facility to provide Aerial Target Operations and Maintenance Support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons, Pacific Target and Marine Operations Division.


    The primary duties of this position typically include (but are not limited to):

    Maintain, repair, and document Support Equipment (SE) PMS, which include target maintenance stands and transport devices, launch equipment, as well as ancillary equipment such as generators and compressors.Operate and be qualified (technically and medically) in forklift operations and overhead crane operations.Perform under direct and indirect supervision, conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on support equipment and/or targets and utilize basic troubleshooting techniques. Assist under supervision target decontamination process/procedures.Maintenance work on BQM-177, BQM-34, and GQM-163 aerial targets and associated support equipment. Work will include work/teardown on the target airframe and assist on electronics, avionics, and associated launch systems and support equipment.Perform testing under supervision to ensure functionality in accordance with procedures defined in NAVAIR manuals using specified test equipment.Operate and be qualified (technically and medically) in forklift operations and overhead crane operations.Perform and understand basic tool control and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

    Additional duties may include (but not be limited to):

    Could involve direct support to BQM-34, BQM-177 and GQM-163 target operations by assisting in target build-up, target transportation, and target decontamination processes.     At the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, MD, SA-TECH supports the Aircraft Instrumentation Division (AID) of the Prototyping, Experimentation, and Instrumentation (PIE) Department. We are currently looking to hire a Material Coordinator to perform aspects of technical supply management work.


    Supply management work is related to the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities and/or the assembly and delivery of aircraft component kits. This work usually is complex and can cross commodity areas or functions, and varies in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.


    In this role, you will review production schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material, requisition material and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. You will also arrange for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules and coordinate with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments. You'll also be responsible for examining material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified.

    As a Material Coordinator, you may monitor and control movement of material and parts along conveyor systems using remote-control panel boards and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using an adding machine. You'll be responsible for compiling reports of quantity and type of material on hand, moving or transporting material from one department to another using hand or industrial trucks and for compiling perpetual production records in order to locate material in the process of production, using manual or computerized systems. You'll also maintain employee records.

    The following are typical job functions but other duties may also be assigned:
