At Naval Base Ventura County, CA, SA-TECH operates and performs operational and intermediate level maintenance for aerial and seaborne assets in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s (NAWCWD’s) Targets and Marine Operations Division, including air and sea vehicles and vessels used for manned and unmanned training and test events.
We are currently seeking to hire a qualified Procurement and Financial Manager at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA to provide financial, procurement, and administrative support to the Business/Contracts Manager. Ensure employee project accounting conforms to both company and customer directives for accurate billing to active and funded project charge lines.Collect, analyze, validate, and deliver weekly project charging data to the customer. Maintain accurate records and provide cost accounting data to program management as requested.Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner. Liaise with corporate administrative & human resources, program management, and government administrative personnel as needed to maintain personnel contact lists, update contract and site rosters, provide personnel security information, and ensure effective flow of communication between company and customers as needed.Maintain site office supplies, including first aid station employee break area materials, and order supplies via company or contract purchase order processes as applicable. Maintain and update employee records, including training, qualification, and certification records. Take phone calls and redirect calls or messages to the appropriate person.Coordinate staff training and/or travel arrangements, including submission of contract purchase orders for travel and/or training when required by contract. Collect employee receipts and review, process, and submit expense reports for reimbursement.Support new employee check-in and checkout processes as directed by HR, to include the scheduling and tracking of physicals and/or specialized training and certification as required by employee position or as directed by program management. This clerk will follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day, routine tasks. In handling unusual, non-routine tasks, specific guidance from a supervisor or other officials will be provided.

SA-TECH has been supporting the US Navy's mission at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Point Mugu as a prime contractor since 2008. Our responsibilities encompass operating and performing operational-, intermediate-, and depot-level maintenance for aerial and seaborne assets in support of weapon systems test and evaluation and fleet training exercises. We manage all stages of aerial and seaborne target assets’ operational progression from initial inspection and configuration through deployment, return and post-operation maintenance and repair. We provide management, scheduling and execution of aerial and seaborne target operations; operation and maintenance of target recovery vessels (Aerial Vehicle Recovery [AVRs]); asset maintenance and depot repair; depot engineering assistance; recovery of aerial and seaborne assets; inventory management; and management of Government-furnished facilities, materials, vehicles and equipment. SA-TECH personnel perform commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) to Remote Control conversion to meet PMS-325 production goals for the Seaborne Targets Externally Directed Team (STEDT). We also provide target control system operation and management, and set-up, test and operation of assets for System for Naval Target Control (SNTC) and Portable Command and Control Unit (PCCU) support at local and deployed locations.
SA-TECH is currently hiring an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I to perform various electronics and avionics tasks on aerial target systems and subsystems (BQM-34, BQM-177, or BQM-74 Targets) at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA and other designated aerial target operating sites.
The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
The following are basic requirements but other duties may be added as needed:Under limited supervision, the incumbent applies technical working knowledge to perform tasks on various types of electronics and avionics work on aerial target systems and subsystems (BQM-34, BQM-177, or BQM-74 Targets). Assist higher level technicians or assuming lead positions in activities such as build-up or replacing aerial target components, wiring harnesses/circuits, troubleshooting systems and subsystems.Repair simple electronic equipment; using tools and common test equipment; and receiving technical guidance, as required, from the supervisor or higher level technicians. Will be required to maintain equipment logs, maintenance action forms and work-time tracking sheets. Will work with small cads (pyro technic devices) and targets-specific rocket motors (JATO). Will also need the ability to learn aerial target launch pad evolutions both at Pt. Mugu and deployed sitesWork Conditions:The working conditions will vary although most of the work will be accomplished in enclosed buildings. There will be work on the range throughout the year so temperatures will vary. Travel is required. Work activities will include 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, and 5% lifting. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate data collection, processing, reporting, and presenting of antenna gain and RCS data. You will also have the opportunity to formulate and execute new and improved concepts, theories, and techniques of advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: DSP, digital filtering, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) data processing, image editing and reconstruction (IER), and statistical signal processing.
