What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy construction equipmentPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, fluid changes, and minor diesel engine repairsRead and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematicsMaintain accurate service records and repair documentationTravel to customer job sites within the assigned region as needed for equipment service, repairs, and operator trainingEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standardsProvide customers with guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best practicesQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a clean driving record7+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment - must have 7+ years to be consideredStrong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematicsExperience using digital voltmeters (DVMs)Working knowledge of CANbus systems and PLCsAbility to provide personal tools required for the positionAbility to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examinationPreferred10+ years of heavy construction equipment experienceWelding experienceAdvanced diesel engine troubleshooting and repair skillsExperience working independently in both shop and field service environmentsPrior experience training or mentoring technicians
