This role delivers upgrades, equipment replacements, building/facility modifications, long-term plan development, and other capital improvements. Projects typically range from $100K to multi-million-dollar investment levels and require strict adherence to nuclear, regulatory, and safety protocols. This position manages 5-10 concurrent projects, coordinating internal stakeholders, engineering, maintenance, construction, contractors, and vendors while ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Manage full lifecycle ("cradle to grave") execution of facilities, construction, and capital improvement projects. + Develop and maintain scopes of work, schedules, budgets, long term project plans, and funding requests. + Lead project controls activities including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, documentation, and reporting. + Interface daily with plant stakeholders: engineering, maintenance, operations, supply chain, controls, finance, and leadership. + Source, contract, manage, and coordinate suppliers and external contractors. + Prepare and deliver project presentations to leadership, including authorization and funding approvals. + Conduct field walkdowns and plant observations for risk mitigation, constructability, and issue resolution. + Support risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and nuclear regulatory expectations. Work Environment & Schedule: + Primarily onsite at the assigned nuclear facility (Prairie Island or Monticello). + Typical hours: 40 hrs/week, standard business hours. + Outage periods require 60 hrs/week, often 12 hour days, 6-7 days/week. + Occasional remote work may be approved by the hiring manager. + Rare travel for vendor visits, factory acceptance testing, or RFP activities (reimbursed). Requirements: + 10+ years of facilities, construction, utility, power plant, or commercial nuclear power project management experience. + Demonstrated success managing projects $1M. + Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and variance analysis. + Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK (Waterfall/Predictive) methodologies. Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access, which includes: + Federal background investigation + Fitness for Duty testing (drug & alcohol) + Compliance with NRC Access Authorization requirements + U.S. citizenship (required). Position Overview We are seeking Controls & Instrumentation Engineers to support the design, manufacturing, and deployment of large-scale hyperscale data center infrastructure modules. This role is responsible for control systems and instrumentation across the full project lifecycle, including engineering design, manufacturing support, construction, testing, installation, and commissioning. The engineer will ensure systems meet customer requirements, applicable codes, and operational performance standards while supporting troubleshooting during fabrication and field execution. Multiple openings are available across various experience levels.     Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert for AIfocused threat detection within the CSOC.
    Design, develop, deploy, and maintain advanced detection content across SIEM and security platforms to identify AI enabled and emerging attack techniques.

    Research emerging AI and advanced technology threats (e.g., prompt injection, model poisoning, adversarial AI, data exposure) and translate them into actionable detection strategies.
    Align detection use cases to industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST CSF.
    Partner with threat intelligence, detection engineering, threat hunting, red team, and architecture teams to proactively strengthen detection capabilities.
    Support proofs of concept and pilots that apply AI to detection engineering and SOC operations, ensuring solutions deliver measurable operational value.
    Mentor and guide senior detection engineers and analysts on AI threat concepts and advanced detection strategies.

    Required Qualifications
    7+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, detection engineering, or SIEM engineering in a senior individual contributor role.
    Advanced expertise in detection engineering across the full content lifecycle (design, testing, deployment, tuning, and decommissioning).
    Hands on experience applying AI or machine learning capabilities within SOC or detection workflows.
    Familiarity with AI security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATLAS, OWASP AI Security).
    Advanced proficiency with SIEM query languages and multi source telemetry across on prem, cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), and hybrid environments.
    Strong understanding of adversary TTPs, including emerging AI?enabled threats.
    Demonstrated ability to analyze larg ?scale log and telemetry datasets to identify threats and detection gaps.
    Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience leading or contributing to AI?focused SOC pilots, automation initiatives, or advanced detection programs.
