About the Role:
The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring the smooth operation of clinical and administrative tasks within a medical facility. Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection techniques.Basic knowledge of medical instruments and sterilization procedures.Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working alongside Nurse Practitioners or in a similar clinical setting.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Additional certifications such as CPR and First Aid.Experience in patient scheduling and front office administrative tasks.Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population.Responsibilities:
