Synergy Florida is currently seeking a Security Alarm Field Technician with extensive experience in Low Voltage Security to provide excellent service to our existing and new customers in the Orlando and surrounding areas so they can receive their desired outcome from their home automation systems. Required Skills and Abilities but not limited to:
2-5 years of experience as an Installer in Security, Structured Wire, Access Control, and/or CCTV with working knowledge of Alarm.com, DSC, troubleshooting, educating the homeowner on their system, etc.Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills and be able to work quickly/efficiently while adhering to demanding quality and safety standards.Ability to read symbols on design / floor plan drawings.
In a typical week the Security Alarm Field Technician will:
Install Qolsys IQ, DSC, Ezlo, and moreInstall smart home devicesProgram Alarm.com home automationInstall whole house interactive and automation equipmentInstall and configure wireless networksInstall security camera systemsInstall card access systems
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 50 poundsMust be able to frequently bend, climb, crawl, lift, twist, and turnMust be able to work in difficult areas, such as attics and crawl spacesMust be able to work from ladders with arms extended overhead for extended periods of timeMust be able work outside when necessary
