About the roleAs an Account Partner, you will own the full client relationship across a book of enterprise accounts that are serious about transforming the future of pay. You are the person who makes the Syndio commercial motion real: driving adoption, expanding the Syndio platform, and running a book where every renewal is earned long before it's negotiated. Why this job is exciting
You're the person customers call when their CHRO needs board-ready analysis, when a new pay directive lands in their region, when Talent Acquisition needs to speed up offers for critical hires, and most importantly, when they're ready to transform how they make pay decisions across the org. You anticipate those calls before they come, arriving with a point of view on where each account's compliance posture is heading and what to do about it before leadership asks. Your customers trust you because you understand their business, not just the product.
Building that trust is how you build a commercial relationship. You earn executive alignment with the office of the CHRO and CFO by being the advisor who helps your customers think through hard problems, not the person who manages their contract. That advisory credibility is what opens the path from compliance-only into governance at scale, and what makes renewals a confirmation of partnership rather than a negotiation.
About you5+ years of enterprise selling experience — Account Management, Enterprise Account Executive, or equivalent GTM roles in B2B SaaS where you personally owned GRR and NRR. Proven expansion and retention wins in a complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environment, with quantified results you can speak to clearly. You are a self-starter when it comes to delivering value and know how to activate an expansion strategy within an account with a large stakeholder group. Your customers think of you as an advisor first — the person who helps them think through hard problems — and a commercial owner second. You have relationships and a track record to prove it.You understand your customers' business objectives. You know what is happening in the regulatory environment, what it means for their compensation strategy, and what they should be doing about it. You don't wait to be asked. You earn CHRO access by building VP and Director-level alignment — across HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance. You understand each stakeholder's lens, build the internal consensus that gets you into the room that matters, and know that CHRO sponsorship is what unlocks multi-product expansion. You own GRR, NRR, and quota end-to-end — pipeline generation, renewals and expansion. You run a disciplined book: you know how to allocate time for prospecting within client accounts and know where to focus for retention and expansion. You work these accounts early, and you hit your number consistently. Your track record proves it.You drive adoption and value realization, not just bookings. You know how to get customer teams using what they own, measure the value it delivers, and turn that value into the renewal and expansion story. You're an effective orchestrator of internal resources — you know when to pull in cross-functional teammates and executives to advance an opportunity and how to keep commercial ownership through the close and build category-defining partnerships.

    Nice to have

Background in Tech or enterprise SaaS, selling into an HR or Finance buyer. Experience selling AI-native platforms with an expanding product roadmap — you know how to drive adoption of what exists today and build customer conviction around a platform that compounds value over time.Experience expanding a customer from one product into a second within a platform.Consulting background or experience in project management is a plus. Energized by building. You're drawn to companies defining a new category, not ones running a mature playbook. You have a solid working command of compensation and/or decision intelligence — enough to have a credible, thought-provoking conversation with the office of the CHRO or CFO about what it means to govern pay decisions at scale through technology. Why you'll love it here:💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $130,000 -$140,000 base per year $260,000- $280,000 OTE. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. Do you want to empower organizations to build smarter compensation strategies while ensuring fair pay for all employees?

Syndio is the leading pay governance and compensation intelligence platform. We help organizations make better pay decisions at every stage of the compensation lifecycle, from leveling and offers to promotions and merit. Our platform gives HR, compensation, and finance leaders the data and decision support they need to govern pay fairly, compliantly, and with confidence. We partner with many of the world's most recognized and respected enterprises, helping them implement leading-edge compensation solutions with expert guidance and analyzing pay for over 10 million employees across the world.

Join us in our mission to help companies make smarter pay decisions they can trust!

    About the role

Syndio enables organizations to make sensitive AI assisted decisions, Trust is a key factor. Customers are increasingly rigorous about AI governance, data usage, and privacy reviews — they are trying, and frequently struggling, to navigate the implications.

We have an opportunity to be thought leaders, to shape what is possible and in the process to accelerate deals and value. This role is designed to close the gap between customer needs, policy and product in order to deliver data governance as a first order value proposition.

    Why this role is exciting

    Customer engagement

Be the senior voice in customer AI reviews, security reviews, DPAs, and data processing negotiations — the person who unblocks the hardest accounts.Lead the conversation with empathy and curiosity. Understand what the customer is trying to protect, what business outcome they're solving for, and where their own internal politics sit. Map that to our policy, propose a better path when their ask doesn't fit, and bring them with us.Help customers become thought leaders inside their own organizations — give them the framing, language, and artifacts to win their own internal reviews and advocate for the approach we've landed together.Drive AAD opt-in as a core outcome: make the value exchange legible, design the consent experience so saying yes is the obvious path, and remove the friction keeping current opt-in suppressed.Partner with Sales, CX, and Legal on enablement: talk tracks, objection handling, canonical answers, live-fire playbooks for AI review calls. Raise the floor so every AE and CSM can carry the first 80% of these conversations.Own customer-facing governance artifacts — trust center content, model cards, audit/access narratives, questionnaire library.

    Policy & thought leadership

Own and land the Data Philosophy & Usage Framework — data classifications (including AAD), permitted/restricted/prohibited uses, the AI Governance Policy, retention, cross-tenant rules — and make each position defensible and crisp, grounded in what customers actually need. When a customer conversation surfaces a gap, close it — don't route around it. Update policy, update positioning, update enablement.Convert our posture into external thought leadership: published positions, conference talks (Compa, HR Tech, privacy/AI forums), whitepapers, analyst briefings. Make Syndio the reference point other vendors are measured against.Maintain the mapping between our controls and external frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001, SOC 2, state privacy laws, EU pay transparency / EUTPD) and keep it current as regulation evolves.

    Product alignment

Carry the customer signal into the product process — in design reviews, PRD reviews, and architecture discussions — so what we commit to customers is actually fit-for-purpose in the components we're building.Translate policy into concrete product requirements: audit trails, privilege handling, discoverability, AI approval workflows, data lifecycle controls, Decision Graph logging semantics.Close the loop both directions: when a customer commitment is made, there is a product owner and a verification path. When product ships something new, policy, enablement, and customer messaging are updated in lockstep. No drift.About youSit in a customer conversation and change its shape — from checkbox exercise to a real discussion about what the customer is trying to solve — without giving away ground we shouldn't.Leave a customer better equipped to lead their own internal reviews and advocate for the approach inside their organization.Hear a customer objection and know in real time: is this a place we need to adjust our policy, adjust our product, or hold our ground and reframe?Write a defensible, plain-English policy position under pressure — and defend it to counsel, to a CISO, and to an analyst.Move the AAD opt-in needle — because the value exchange is clear, the consent path is clean, and customers trust what we'll do with the data.Read a PRD, spot the governance-reality gap, and get it fixed before it ships.Turn "we don't do that" and "we do this instead" into an industry position that draws customers toward us.Operate as a peer to Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, CX, and Sales. Translate fluently between regulator language, customer-procurement language, and engineering language.Know the difference between what a customer is asking for and what they actually need, and have the empathy and authority to close that gap.If successful, this role will:Double AAD opt-in. Move aggregated & anonymized data consent from customers — because customers understand the value exchange, trust the posture, and say yes with confidence. Turn AI review from a blocker into a magnet. Shrink the time from "AI review requested" to "AI review cleared," and start winning deals because engaging with us on governance is easier and clearer than anyone else's — governance as a first-class commercial differentiator, not a tax.Equip our customers to lead. Send customers back into their own organizations able to articulate a defensible, modern posture on pay-decision AI — making their legal/security/exec reviews easier and making them advocates for the approach we've built together.Ship the right thing the first time. Because customer signal flows cleanly into policy and then into product, we meet customer needs with materially less rework — fewer bespoke commitments, fewer surprises in security review, fewer escapes where what we shipped doesn't match what we sold.

At Syndio, we're building a diverse team that values candor, curiosity, and community. If you share these values and are interested in joining us, we'd love to talk with you even if you don't 100% meet the "about you" listed here. Job DescriptionJob Description

    The Role

Syndio's partner ecosystem is a core growth driver, and the relationships we've built with strategic partners require dedicated marketing investment to realize their full potential. We're hiring a Strategic Partner Marketing Manager to own the co-marketing function across our strategic partner portfolio.

This role sits within the product marketing function and operates cross-functionally across the broader marketing team. You'll be the primary marketing liaison between Syndio and our partners, ensuring that our joint value story is clear, our messaging is consistent and accurate, and that co-branded programs are built to drive real pipeline.

This role operates in two modes: ongoing co-marketing management — marketplace upkeep, accuracy audits, asset refreshes — across the full partner portfolio, and periodic launch-style pushes (marketplace listings, seller enablement, launch events) for partnerships at that stage.

This is a builder role. You'll extend existing partner programs and create new ones where nothing exists yet, working directly with senior stakeholders on both sides, and setting the standard for how Syndio approaches partner marketing at scale.

Our partner portfolio spans different categories of platforms — HR and workforce systems, communication and collaboration tools, and others — each with its own language, buyer, and marketplace dynamics. You'll need to adapt the value story and asset approach to fit each one.

    What You'll Do

Serve as the primary marketing liaison to strategic partners

Own the day-to-day marketing relationship with Syndio's strategic partner portfolioBuild trusted working relationships with counterpart marketing contacts at each partner organizationRepresent Syndio marketing in partner planning calls, quarterly business reviews, and co-marketing syncsBring executive presence to senior-stakeholder settings — comfortable representing Syndio one-on-one with senior leaders at partner organizations, without needing Syndio leadership in the roomCoordinate across multiple external stakeholders when programs involve more than one partner organization at once

    Own partner program navigation

    Own partner program navigation
