Job Summary
Bus Inspector monitors and inspects all school bus routes, vehicles, and driver/driver assistants. Is responsible for daily compliance documentation of the transporters in the preschool program within the Nassau/Suffolk County Preschool Transportation system. Responsible to respond timely and accurately to all inquiries and document appropriately. Must have solid understanding of transportation safety procedures specific to paratransit. Responsible to develop safety procedures appropriate to changes in State law.
