About SweatPalsAt SweatPals, our mission is to help people build real connection through movement — and empower the next generation of fitness entrepreneurs. Backed by a16z speedrun, Kevin Hart, and other world-class investors, we connect hundreds of thousands of “Pals,” hosts, and gyms through events, memberships, and social features.
We believe working out should be joyful, social, and inclusive — not just a solo grind. From run clubs, beach pilates to pickleball leagues and cold plunge socials, SweatPals turns everyday workouts into meaningful social experiences.
SweatPals also gives local leaders the tools to grow their fitness communities from side hustles to full-time, even million dollar businesses. Hosts use our platform to run their business, from ticketing, memberships, to marketing tools.
As we scale, marketing plays a critical role in turning this mission into movement. From building a brand people talk about to growing our presence city by city, you’ll help bring our story to life - and make it feel personal, local, and exciting to join.
What You’ll DoWe are looking for a full-stack, social forward marketer with a strong sense of brand. You’ll lead strategy and execution across 10+ local and national social accounts, turn product and event moments into buzzworthy campaigns, and collaborate with creators and designers to keep our voice consistent and our messaging unforgettable.
Own and execute social strategy — across Instagram, TikTok, and 10+ local and national accounts
Build a strong, consistent brand voice across cities, content types, and creators
Spot trends early and adapt them in a way that fits our tone, audience, and values
Deep understanding of the Gen Z audience — what resonates, what drives action, and how to stay relevant without chasing trends
Create content (Reels, memes, carousels, captions) that feels native to each platform
Lead creator and influencer collaborations — from scouting and briefs to repurposing and publishing
Support product and brand launches — turning them into social-first, high-emotion moments
Write branded emails for major moments — helping users discover events and hosts grow their business
Collaborate closely with our in-house and freelance content, design, and brand partners
Track performance, test ideas, and optimize based on what drives action and engagement
Create scalable systems — content calendars, local launch playbooks, city toolkits, and more
Use AI tools to streamline workflows and boost creativity
What You BringExperience5+ years in marketing, with 3+ years focused on social, content, or brand
Strong portfolio of content or campaigns that show taste, storytelling, and results
Experience working with creators and designers
Bonus: experience at a consumer startup, creator platform, or fitness/wellness brand
SkillsStrong short-form copywriting (IG captions, TikTok hooks, meme headlines, etc.)
Sharp visual instincts — even if you’re not the one designing, you know what looks right
Clear communicator and confident collaborator across functions and disciplines
Highly organized and proactive — you can manage multiple projects and keep things moving
Comfortable leveraging AI tools for content ideas, captions, planning, or workflows
Familiar with tools like Notion, Airtable, Later, Figma, Canva, Sprout, or TikTok editing apps
Creative thinker with a strong sense of brand — you understand how to build emotional connection through content, visuals, and voice
You’ll Thrive Here If You...Have a strong sense of taste, tone, and storytelling — and know how to help others stay on-brand
Take strong ownership — you're reliable, self-directed, and take pride in the details
Think like a trendsetter, not a trend follower — you can remix what’s working and make it ours
Are energized by autonomy and ambiguity — we’ll give you the keys and trust you to drive
Use AI and modern tools to work smarter and scale faster
Care deeply about your craft — how something looks, feels, performs, and connects to our mission
Take pride in craft and excellence — you're thoughtful about details, care deeply about quality, and raise the bar with every project

Backed by a16z speedrun, Patron, Kevin Hart, Pear VC, and founders of Instacart and Dreamworks Animations, we connect hundreds of thousands of “Pals,” hosts, and gyms through events, memberships, and social features.
We’re still scrappy at heart, but scaling fast—and personalized, intelligent experiences are central to our next chapter. Hosts use SweatPals to run their businesses (ticketing, memberships, group chats, waivers, POS), while users discover joyful, active experiences. We’re building a healthier, more connected world.
Why This Role MattersWe’re looking for a hands-on, outcome-obsessed Product Manager who can move fast without losing the thread. You’ll be the bridge between strategy and execution—owning end-to-end delivery while constantly sharpening product direction through user insights, market signals, and performance data.
What You’ll Own📦 Product Delivery & ExecutionOwn the roadmap and sprint pipeline across mobile and web—sequence work, track dependencies, and ensure the team is always building toward impact.
Lead standups, sprint planning, retros, QA, and hotfix triage with rigor and clarity.
Stay close to engineering velocity and proactively resolve scope, process, or team friction.
📊 Data, Insights & TrackingDefine and own clear metrics frameworks at the squad level - MAU, GMV, retention, LTV—and track progress to OKRs.
Build and improve tracking plans; partner with eng to implement Amplitude events and dashboards.
Drive insights from the data and surface the “so what”—turn dashboards into product action.
🧠 Customer Discovery & ValidationLead user interviews, shadow sessions, and concept testing to uncover real pain points.
Translate feedback into hypotheses, prototypes, and MVPs that feel distinctly “SweatPalsy.”
Run fast experiments, measure outcomes, and double down on what resonates.
🛠 Cross-functional CollaborationBreak down complex technical ideas so anyone—from eng to execs—can follow the story.
Maintain a crisp flow of communication in Slack, Loom, Notion, and stakeholder reviews.
Constantly reprioritize across a portfolio of initiatives—balancing speed, dependencies, and long-term bets.
🎨 Product Quality & CraftsmanshipUphold a high bar for design, UX, and build quality across every feature—ensuring the product feels cohesive, polished, and deeply user-loved.
Partner closely with Design, Engineering, and GTM to align on quality from first sketch to final ship.
Identify gaps in execution, advocate for excellence, and push for refinements when the experience isn’t ready to ship.
Bring taste and product judgment—knowing when something’s good, and when it’s great.
Champion a culture of care and craft, where every release builds toward a product users are proud to use and share.
You’ll Thrive Here If You...Have 3–6 years of experience shipping consumer, marketplace or building SAAs for SMBs products—ideally mobile-first.
Treat tools like Linear, Notion, Amplitude, and Loom as second nature.
Love getting your hands dirty—from clarifying ambiguous specs to poking at broken dashboards.
Constantly seek context and ask sharp questions that move the product forward.
Translate chaos into action plans—and aren’t afraid to step outside the roadmap to unlock 10x outcomes.
Stay curious about new technologies, especially AI tools and systems that improve speed, quality, or personalization.
Take pride in building high-quality products and find joy in the craft—from thoughtful UX to crisp execution.
Are energized by fitness, community, or creators—or just believe movement makes everything better.
Bonus PointsExperience with React Native + React pipelines and scaling CI/CD.
Familiar with marketplace mechanics (POS, payouts, incentives).
Exposure to AI-driven features (ranking, recommendations, content gen).
Built systems or features that prioritize social connection and retention.
What Makes SweatPals SpecialReal impact: You’ll shape how people find belonging through movement.
Remote-first freedom: Work anywhere in Europe or the US, with quarterly retreats (cold plunges included).
Top-tier investors & teammates: Backed by a16z, Kevin Hart, and more—but still small enough that you’ll directly shape the future.
Great perks: Competitive salary, equity, wellness stipend, unlimited event credits on SweatPals.
