SVN Parke Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Building Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced commercial environment. This position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including opening (6:00 AM–3:00 PM), day (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), and closing (9:30 AM–6:30 PM), with the possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment.Respond promptly to tenant service requests and resolve issues efficiently.Maintain logs and records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Ensure building operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.Monitor building systems and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal performance.Perform general building repairs including light carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
Requirements

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial units including cleanings, inspections, and minor repairs
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codes
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Provide outstanding customer service while on-site
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of HVAC experience preferred
EPA Certification required
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (attics, rooftops, crawl spaces, etc.)
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Journeyman license preferred
