    A dynamic Pediatric practice in Las Vegas, NV with one pediatrician is seeking a friendly, outgoing, who enjoys working with children and has experience in doing so. The qualified individual should be very responsible and have a high sense of accountability and honesty.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Warmly welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone. Prepares patients for the health care visit by verifying patient information and history, taking accurate vital signs, confirming purpose of the visit, and entering accurate information into the electronic health record.

    Checks in patients with friendly efficiency and a graceful approach to collecting co-pays and balances.Accurately completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations like HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA.Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual Spanish highly preferredMinimum 1 year pediatric experience if possible.Dependable, polite, team-oriented, and fast-paced.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

    *Complete Provider orders, and follow up on patient correspondences

    *Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical providers & staff

    *Duties include Immunizations and other Clinical Procedures, to

    include documentation in EMR

    *Communicate with insurance companies for insurance verification & proper billing procedures

    *Verification will include prior authorizations, insurance eligibility, policy

    terms, etc.

    *Maintain Compliance for various state and local organizations

    *Flexibility to work from both office locations, must have reliable transportation

    Qualifications and Skills

    *Previous experience and/or training in medical assisting, healthcare or other related fields

    *CMA certification preferred

    *Familiarity with medical billing procedures

    *Strong organizational skills & multitasking ability

    *Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

    *Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    *Ability to build rapport with patients

    *Display leadership qualities and be proactive

    *Computer literacy skills

    *Bi-Lingual speaking ability a plus

    Benefits

    *Probationary period of 90 days.

    *Full time employees may be eligible for Medical, Dental, and 401K if employed 1 year after

    Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations, preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests on premises, administering vaccinations and other medications, authorizing medication refills and telephone prescriptions to pharmacies as directed; obtaining electrocardiograms, spirometry, vision and hearing screening; removing sutures and changing dressings.
