    About the Opportunity

    We are partnering with a highly regarded legal practice to identify a Family Law Associate to join its

    growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated family law

    matters in a collaborative, high-performing environment. The position offers meaningful client

    exposure, hands-on litigation experience, and a clear path for professional development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft motions, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents for family law matters

    including divorce, custody, alimony, asset separation, and domestic violence cases

    • Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic support across all phases of

    discovery

    • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant stakeholders —

    maintaining professionalism and discretion at every stage

    • Manage case files from intake through resolution while maintaining organized and accurate

    documentation

    • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues on case strategy, legal analysis, and client

    counsel

    • Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings as

    required

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

    • Active bar membership in California, in good standing

    • 2–5 years of hands-on experience practicing family law

    • Demonstrated experience drafting motions and pleadings

    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with clients and opposing counsel

    • Prior law firm experience preferred

    • Self-starter with solid organizational skills and a collaborative mindsetPreferred

    • Experience in accounting, forensic accounting, or financial matters related to family law

    (e.g., asset valuation, support calculations)

    • Familiarity with high-net-worth divorce or complex asset separation matters
