What You’ll Do:
Build and lead Superpower’s editorial engine: longform, shortform, and narrative-driven assets
Define the creative direction for how we talk about health, longevity, performance, and human potential
Collaborate across clinical, product, and marketing to distill complex ideas into iconic content
Source and create content that people actually want to read, share, and revisit
Architect high-conviction brand storytelling—from our “drops” to deeper thought-leadership pieces
You Might Be:
A former founder with taste who built something beautiful but niche
A sharp writer with a deep health obsession
A creative from a brand studio or content-first company with a cult following
Someone like Tyler Martin, Sean Stewart, or a Colossus/Stripe Press hybrid
You Must:

Have shipped original content or creative that shaped a brand

This is a unique opportunity for a product-minded, entrepreneurial engineer to work at the intersection of software, healthcare innovation, and human performance. You will collaborate directly with the founding team to build scalable systems and beautiful user experiences that empower users to manage their health more effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end-to-end software solutions, from front-end components to backend infrastructure.
Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to shape a seamless, user-centric health platform.
Build and maintain scalable microservices architecture and modern web applications.
Own technical decisions and contribute to company-wide product strategy and planning.
Establish and enforce best practices in testing, security, and performance optimization.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering workflows and infrastructure.
Qualifications5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on full stack web development.
Deep experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, Typescript, and related tooling.
Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (especially AWS/Fargate).
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Passion for healthcare, wellness, or longevity tech is a strong plus.
Prior experience at an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer is highly desirable.

Work Location & EnvironmentThis is a hybrid role based in San Francisco. Team members work primarily from our SOMA office, collaborating closely across disciplines in a fast-moving, highly creative, and mission-driven environment.
