About the Role
Are you passionate about healthy living and community wellness? We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Market Manager to oversee operations for our two healthy supermarket locations in Luverne and Greenville.
This isn't a "sit-behind-a-desk" job. You will be the bridge between our two stores, ensuring that our mission of providing fresh, high-quality, and organic options is met at both locations. You will lead two distinct teams, optimize inventory, and ensure every customer walks out healthier and happier.
Key Responsibilities
Dual-Store Oversight: Drive operational excellence and consistency across both the Luverne and Greenville locations.Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor store staff and assistant managers. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, performance reviews, and fostering a positive work culture.Merchandising & Inventory: Ensure produce, supplements, and grocery items are impeccably stocked, rotated (FIFO), and visually appealing.Financial Performance: Manage P&L, labor costs, and shrinkage. You will be responsible for hitting quarterly sales targets for both markets.Community Engagement: Build relationships with local Alabama farmers and vendors to ensure we are sourcing the best regional products.Compliance: Maintain strict health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in retail management (Grocery, Produce, or Specialty Health Retail preferred).
