POSITION PURPOSE:The Forklift Driver is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina. The Forklift Driver’s primary responsibility is the customer and their vessels. Every task at the marina from carefully handing the customers boats, to communicating effectively with the employee working the docks. The Forklift Driver projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceComply with company policies and legal guidelinesMaintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisorEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Prior forklift experience - Marina experience preferable.Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

JOB TITLE: Dockmaster
DEPARTMENT: Docks
REPORTS TO: General Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:The Dockmaster is often the first person our customers will interact with when arriving by vessel. The Dockmaster is a strong and motivating leader responsible for the overall operation of the docks. This includes scheduling of dockhands, communication with vessel captains, reservations, maintaining overall safety and cleanliness of the marina, fuel operations, providing the highest level of guest services, concierge, training of new team members, and securing the marina and vessels in the event of inclement weather.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets and provides the highest level of customer/guest services and expedites any and all requests from vesselsSchedules and manages all dockhands in marina related duties such as securing boats, fuel, black water pump outs, connecting and monitoring utility services, and waste disposal. JOB TITLE: Dockhand

POSITION PURPOSE:The Dockhand may be the first person our guests interact with when arriving to the marina. It is important that they deliver superior marina experience to all our guests. Dockhands assist the Dockmaster and other Dockhands in all duties related to the marina. Doing so while being friendly, positive and accommodating, they also keep the area clean, safe, and well maintained.
