General Job Summary:Responsible for daily supervision and functioning of one construction project and/or one crew on a construction project.
Principal duties and Responsibilities:Field verifying location and nature of work being performed by putting eyes on the project.Confirm quality of work being done and quantity done at the end of each day.Responsible for maintaining acceptable performance standards and metrics of crew working on project.Maintain contract schedule.Responsible for all administrative functions necessary to document work including but not limited to ordering and tracking of supplies, billing, hours, safety documents, etc.Ensure safety practices and procedures are being followed at all times.Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve established goals.Position Requirements:High School DiplomaHave the ability to complete assignments with no supervision and self-direct daily activitiesOrganized and motivated to provide project support as directedConscientious professional who has a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills1-3 years previous telecom experienceProficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to handle multiple tasks

Coax Splicer
DESCRIPTION
A Coax Fiber Splicer is responsible for splicing new build and/or upgrade coaxial cable plant. This position requires frequent travel in which the employee would be away from home.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Place and install coaxial cable
Install passive/active devices, pedestals, vaults or coax splice cases
Splice active and passive CATV equipment
Rough balance and troubleshoot coaxial cable plant
Read blueprints, CATV design maps and basic electronic designs
Operate aerial lift and other related equipment to perform job functions
Frequently communicate with management on workload status
May occasionally perform routine construction work such as pulling rope/cables, climbing ladders, using hand tools, digging with a shovel, etc.
Accurately complete all required company documentation or each assignment according to established company standards and procedures ie timesheet, truck report, expense report)
Responsible for assigned company vehicle, tools, materials and equipment
Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established company safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in order to help team complete a project
