Position: Lawn Care Technician — Pesticide Applicator. Location: Indiana — travel to client properties required Schedule: Mon–Fri with occasional Saturdays; seasonal and year-round positions available
Key duties
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and other pesticide products per label directionsMow, edge, trim, blow and perform general lawn maintenance as neededMaintain accurate application records and follow state regulationsInspect yards for pest/disease issues and report recommendations to supervisorOperate and maintain equipment safely; use PPE consistentlyCommunicate professionally with customers and supervisorsRequired qualifications
Must pass the Indiana CORE pesticide applicator test (state certification required prior to solo pesticide work)Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weatherReliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and safety-focusedPreferred
