Position Overview
The Project Engineer provides technical and administrative support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position works closely with project managers, superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate the flow of information and resources needed to keep work moving efficiently. The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting our field operations, estimating, planning, and overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Prepare and maintain RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
• Support material procurement and vendor coordination
• Interpret plans, specifications, and addenda for field crews and subcontractors
• Assist with job cost tracking, quantity reports, and production analysis
• Work with estimating teams to prepare takeoffs and technical proposals
• Ensure documentation meets contract, safety, and quality requirements
• Conduct site visits, track progress, and help resolve field challenges
• Support project close-out documentation, as-built drawings, and warranties
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and PDF mark-up tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams
Preferred:
• Experience in heavy civil or commercial construction
• Familiarity with scheduling software (P6 or MS Project)
• Knowledge of HCSS, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms

Position Overview
The Project Coordinator serves as the organizational backbone of active projects, supporting both daily operational needs and critical financial tasks in the construction industry. This role keeps communication flowing, documents organized, schedules aligned, and project financials on track. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and accounting, the Coordinator helps ensure every project stays on time, within scope, and financially accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Documentation
Assist project managers with schedules, work plans, and project milestones.Maintain project records including contracts, change orders, submittals, safety documents, and closeout materials.Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and updates for leadership and project stakeholders.Procurement & Administration
Request project quotes, issue purchase orders, and track material deliveries.Help coordinate subcontractor agreements, insurance certificates, compliance documents, and lien releases.Support project kickoff and closeout processes, ensuring proper documentation.Project Accounting Support
Collect and review invoices, subcontractor billing, timecards, and purchase orders for accuracy.Enter project costs into the accounting system and support timely posting of project expenses.Assist in preparing monthly billing (including T&M, progress billing, AIA forms, and retainage tracking).Monitor payment status and follow up on outstanding billing documentation.Support project financial reporting and update cost information as directed.Reporting & Communication
Prepare weekly or monthly project reports, budget updates, and job cost summaries.Communicate project progress, issues, and financial impacts to management and accounting teams.Assist with forecast updates and help track cost-to-complete information.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).1–3 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or financial support (construction experience preferred).Familiarity with job costing or project billing is a plus.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project or accounting systems (e.g., Vista (Viewpoint), Procore, Spectrum, Sage, QuickBooks) is helpful.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.

About the Position:
The Director of Safety is responsible for providing environmental safety and health services in a construction environment for all three of Sunesis Companies. This position will track and remediate risks to ensure injury prevention, illness and property damage prevention. In addition, maintain all knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting job site safety inspections.Responsible for managing the work of the two Safety Managers.Working with the Project Management Department to develop JSA and/or other job specifics documents.Coordinates safety training/orientation of employees and ensures training is current and meets regulatory requirement.Actively works to support a positive safety culture in coordination with the HR & Operations Departments.Performs inspections and helps with incident investigations, conducts safety audits, assists in the preparation of reports and interacts with Corporate EHS policies, regulatory agencies, consultants and vendors.Administers and maintains documents for all EHS policies, written programs and training programs.Maintains critical OSHA records and statistics, including the OSHA 300 Log, Total Case Incident Rates, and Accident Investigation documents. Provides accurate and timely reports to Corporate EHSMonitors risk management activities necessary to ensure the company maintains a safe work environment for employees and that they are in compliance with federal, state and/or local requirements.Participates and support corporate safety initiatives.Qualifications/Skills:
