    We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and friendly individual to interact and introduce customers to our products. Paid training, support and all needed supplies will be provided for you to get you comfortable in your new role.

    Job Description:
    Engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, introducing them to our products.
    Conduct in-store events and food sampling activities to showcase Boars Head products.
    Build rapport with customers, answering questions and providing product information.
    Drive sales by encouraging customers to try our delicious offerings and making purchase recommendations.

    Job Requirements:
    Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
    Ability to stand for six hours and lift 10 lbs comfortably.
    Comfortable promoting products for immediate sale.
    Dependable transportation with ability to transport supplies (small folding table, cookware, etc.).
    Capability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
    Professional, enthusiastic demeanor with excellent communication skills.
    Ability to adapt to new technology or demonstrate tech-savviness, as the role may involve utilizing digital tools for event management, customer engagement, and product promotion.
    Prior deli slicer or food service experience preferred.
    Previous culinary or brand ambassador experience is a plus.

We are an exclusive Premium Food Brand Distributor, dedicated to providing high-quality food products to various foodservice establishments.     Job Summary
    The Account Manager serves as the frontline ambassador for our brand within grocery store deli departments. This role is responsible for driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and supporting store teams through hands-on training, merchandising, and operational excellence.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Customer & Store Support
    Build strong relationships with deli managers and associates to foster trust and collaboration.Assist in writing and submitting accurate product orders based on store needs and sales trends.Provide in-store training on slicing techniques, product pairings, and customer engagement strategies.Deliver exceptional customer service by mentoring deli staff and modeling best practices.Host in-store sampling events and product demonstrations to drive consumer engagement and brand loyalty.Conduct in-store meetings with deli and store managers to review sales analysis, KPIs, and growth opportunities.Merchandising & POP Management


    Set and maintain deli case planograms in collaboration with the delivery team.Ensure all product displays are fully stocked, clean, visually appealing, and correctly priced.Rotate and stock retail and service case products, integrating back-stock efficiently.Update and maintain POP and marketing materials in alignment with brand standards.Clean and maintain all retail showcases including deli case glass and barrel rack merchandisers.Sales & Business Development


    Monitor customer preferences and sales trends to guide merchandising and promotional efforts.Recommend and locate products based on customer needs and preferences.Analyze operational records to project sales and assess profitability.Collaborate with department heads to plan advertising, merchandising, and inventory strategies.Place special orders to meet unique consumer demands and seasonal needs.Compliance & Operational Excellence


    Complete daily food safety and sanitation activities to ensure regulatory compliance.Review expiration dates and manage short-coded products proactively.Enforce safety, health, and security protocols within the deli department.Demonstrate and train on proper use of deli equipment, including slicers.Maintain in-stock conditions and inventory accuracy across all product lines.Communication & Reporting


    Capture in-store activities using GoSpot Check and Slack applications.Attend company meetings to align sales initiatives, promotions, and team goals.Provide feedback from store visits to inform broader operational and marketing strategies.

    Provide behind-the-counter training to deli employees with a focus on exceptional customer service, product.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience
    High school diploma required.
