Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: The Maintenance Technician reports to the Lead or Group lead and is responsible for the repairs within the facility. Performs routine preventative and reactive maintenance on machines and mechanical equipment. Assumes responsibility for grounds and facility and the GMP, environmental health and safety procedure awareness, and compliance within the respective area. Job Duty:Performs all necessary tasks to complete assigned work orders and documentation, including but not limited to facility repairs, equipment repairs, and general building maintenance.
Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the maintenance shop and the spare parts required to minimize production downtime due to machinery breakdowns.
Coordinates with the area Lead to ensure timely repairs. Supports safety and cGMP initiatives. Performs all other duties as assigned.Setup and assistance of setup in production. Equipment such as Tablet presses and Encapsulators that are powered by both electric and pneumatics
