    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The ERP System Administrator will report directly to the Manager of Information Technology and will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the company’s Epicor ERP system. As part of these activities, the successful candidate will possess the experience, skills, diligence and desire to deliver cross-functional systems solutions, development, integration and application capability within an Epicor manufacturing business environment. Project management skills and experience will be crucial to the success of this position. Effective communication with the entire SUN Automation ERP user base will be necessary to improve current business processes and business requirements to better provide technical solutions that will allow the user base to excel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain the ERP system through implementation of system modifications, updates, and new releases.Point of contact to the business teams and ERP users in troubleshooting system issues and processes.Diagnose, fix and prevent ERP IT issues.Collaborate with internal system users and business process owners to analyze, develop, implement and maintain new and improved processes and procedures.Manage data conversions, SQL databases, reporting, and all other technical aspects of the system.Implement and support appropriate tools that allow for daily monitoring of systems, timely, and appropriate response to alarms.Tune the system to maintain / improve performance.Assist with the upkeep and eventual phase-out of manual spreadsheets and databases to the extent possible.Manage ERP disaster recovery / business continuity – including regular disaster recovery tests to prove recoverability and to benchmark time to recover.Accountable for security at the system level and at the user level including setting up new users, determining and documenting appropriate permissions and approvals, basic login and navigation training.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    5-8 years of Epicor support, and Epicor system report writing.Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.     As an Electrical Assembler for SUN Automation, you will be responsible for applying electrical principles to assemble and install electrical wiring, components, and equipment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Apply knowledge of electrical principles to read and interpret complex wiring schematics.Perform complex wiring and assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies.Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and other electrical components.Test functional performance to ensure wiring and assemblies are operational.Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Proficient in reading & interpreting electrical schematics, symbols, and other technical drawings.Assemble electrical components into electrical control boxes, enclosures, and large control panels for industrial machinery.Identify, select, and properly use and care for basic hand and power tools; will need to provide basic hand tools.Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team, work closely with mechanical team, field service group, and other areas of the organization. Able to handle basic issues and problems; refer more complex issues to the Foreman.Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

    As an Assembly Mechanic for SUN Automation, you will be required to fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches, and knowledge of machine construction to build machines and equipment, utilizing hand tools and power tools.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Analyze assembly blueprint and specifications manual and plans machine building operations.Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.Lay out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly as needed.Use a combination of hand and power tools to assemble components and fit prefabricated metal parts together to complete each buildAlign components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together, using hand tools, rivet gun, and other tools as necessary.Work as part of a production team to successfully complete each building phase, as well as troubleshoot, repair, align, clean, and lubricate all fully assembled parts prior to shippingResponsible for ensuring that all assembled components (wires, harnesses, gears, pumps, motors, etc.) are up to standard with internal quality regulations; any damaged products and/or components are either mended or replacedComplying with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.
